I'm not shelling out $35+ on for this giant book that won't even fit nicely on my shelf. Any word on a nice li'l ol' paperback version?

I NEVER buy hardbacks. But I couldn't resist paying $85 at the SW celebration for and autographed copy with Maul's face embossed in red metalic on a black leather cover. It was like he was calling my name.

Well, an autographed book is different. I'm glad someone agrees with me about hardcovers. I just don't see the point in buying a book that will last for decades when I can get the same fun out of an $8 copy that's portable. (Maybe I'm just cheap!) :)

DEFINITELY cheap. :)

I'm sure you bought all four covers, right Atreyu? :) Four covers - Good idea, GL. There's so little SW stuff to spend my money on, I mean, I'm just ITCHING to buy the same book four times...SW Insider has 2 covers, comic books each had several covers, what, did these artists have nothing better to do?

Besides, paperbacks take up much less space. And are easy to lug around.

LOL try and whip out the hardcover on a bus and hang onto it with one hand. At the first fast brake, that book will fly out of your hands and hit the bus driver on the back of his noggin! (They don't like that very much.) :)

Why pay for the same book 4 times when you can just flog the covers off them? :) Seriously though - I only got 1 copy, and it had Obi-wan on the front and Qui-gon on the back. :)

That's the one I'd want, too. The Maul ones seemed to sell out so fast, but personally, I wouldn't want to be seen reading a book with HIM on the cover...People would think I was part of some cult, or something! :)

You mean it EXISTS? That's good news! :) Hopefully it will make its way to Canada soon.

It does exist, but my copy is in German. You donīt want one, do you? Didnīt see it in Canada somewhere when I was there in September.

http://www.rotary.org/ ( http://www.rotary.org/) Some of the schools in my area, belong to the "Rotary Club" where highschool students from U.S. and other countries can have the opportunity to take a year at a school in another country instead of where they grew up. The student needs a sponser family in the country he/she wants to go to. I never did it so, I don't know what the expenses are. I was curious considering that you said you were there and had been to Canada.

We have something like that in Australia - it's called Student Exchange. It follows the same principle. Just thought I'd add that. :)
