I don't know how many people here buy SW comics but I use to buy the Dark Horse stuff religously. I cut back a couple of years ago and now I just buy stuff that looks interesting. I have to say that my current favorite is SW Tales.
SW Tales has some of the best and most original material I've ever read in SW comics. And the creators took an approach which I think was simply brilliant. THEY ABANDONED SW CONTINUITY!!! The writers and illustrators were free to do whatever they wanted without any regard to the SW timeline or the EU universe. So what do you get as a result? Stories about droids with Jedi powers, Max Rebo and his buddies tooling around Tatooine. Great Vader stories, including a comedic tale about the construction of the Death Stars and why the Emperor skimped on building safety railings.
Has anybody else read this comic?
