Hello everyone,
As much as I hate to admit it, i haven't *really* seen anything this year that I totally wanted to recommend to people. .....until now, really. to be honest its been a looong time since i've seen anything that made people around me openly break down in tears. I saw it with 2 other people and when it was time to leave we walked to the car, and drove home in complete silence. I was shaking and it wasn't from the cold. The movie is "Dancer in the Dark." It features the artist Bjork, one of my favorites, and for an acting debut, she reaaallly shines. I think what i liked about it the most was how much it challenged me as an audience. I was forced to accept this weird idea for a film and then be transformed by it. Any film that can make me remember how good movies can be is amazing.
I suggest you guys try it out!
