With a real name like Marion, I'd think John Wayne would have to be tough. No offence to those who like the name Marion. How's that for p.c.? :)

The Duke V. Mad Lady Marion. I can't understand why he changed his name. Mad Lady Marion is one bad ass nickname. ;)
And yes buff, I'm as old as time itself. In fact, I have to take a quick nap to get ready for Game 2 of the Subway Series. Night, night boys...

I voted for Eastwood, but I always thought one of the meanest toughest actors was Charles Bronson. He does not seem like a nice guy.

I only wish I could have put 10 choices up there! Bronson is one of my FAVORITE old tough guys. Before he got cheesy in the 80s he was one of Hollywood's leading action heroes. Once Upon A Time In The West is one my favorite westerns and my favorite Brosnan flick. The Mechanic with Jan Michael Vincent was pretty decent as well and had a great ending!
