Seems like most of the SNL spin off movies make around that.

Did superstar or night at the roxbury make that? As much as I love Leon Phelps, I really don't think that The Ladies' Man will make 30 million. Maybe 20 million.

I didn't find the trailer funny at all, but I liked the TV commercial, oddly enough. Problem with comedies is that they're just as nice on the small screen, so it doesn't seem worth it to shell out the money to see it in theatres.

The thing with comedies is that you want to see it in theaters before the jokes become widespread everywhere, on the radio, workplace etc...provided the jokes are funny in the first place.

You forgot Wayne's World 2 and Stuart Saves his Family (a surprisingly good movie).

And the Original Blues Brothers, of course. :)

Not to put you on the spot Darth23, but you're the first person I've heard say they liked Stuart Saves his Family. I've never seen it, but I always liked Stuart Smalley.

Stuart Saves His Family was a surprisingly good film about dysfunctional families. (I thought). I saw it on Cable. Actually I remember Siskel or Ebert or both giving the movie a good review. Did anyone else see it? Vincent Dinofrio was great (as usual).

I saw part of Pat on tv also. it looked borig and stupid. I just don't think there's enough to the Pat concept make a whole 90 minute movie out of it.

I think the Evil One might be right about that one.

I guess I should have taken into consideration the fact that Ladies Man is rated R. I wonder if it sucks more than the other recent SNL flicks.
