It looks like Meet the Parents is a huge hit, I think it will easily make 130 million perhaps more. I am sure Universal is happy, they finally have a hit.

I finally got around to seeing ALMOST FAMOUS and I must say I'm pretty dissapointed it's Box Office is so meager. It is really good...and it was like off 41 percent this weekend. Grrrrrr.

I haven't seen it yet, but I am surprised in how poorly its performing especially with the critics raving about it. Also does anybody know what comes out this friday, I know Beddazzeled comes out and I think Pay it Foward does too. I was just wondering what are the chances for Meet the Parents repeating for a third straight weekend.

I'd say pretty decent.

Yeah it has a pretty good shot. BEDAZZLED might be #1 though...strong date crowd movie. The best movie out right now for my money is THE CONTENDER. It was reeally, really good. I was shocked how much I enjoyed it.

Well it did it again Meet the Parents won for the third weekend in a row. Here is the top 10

It is also surprising that 4 films made 10 million dollars. I am almost certain that this is the last weekend for Meet the Parents this weekend with Blair Witch 2 coming which will do at least 20 million. Still Meet the Parents is a hillarious movie (which I finally saw today, it was great) and will continue to make money.

Unbelievable as it may seem it did it again. This Movie has an incredibly staying power it lost just 6% from last week. Here is the rest of the top 10

Obviously, TBW2 is a bad movie from the box office numbers. Still, I think MTP, reign will end next weekend when Charlie's angels debuts.

RTT looks like it's doing rather well. I'm pleasantly surprised. I really want to see MTP before its run ends. Stupid baby sitters, why can't they work for free? :(
