I know I haven't been around very much lately guys. Mostly it was school related, I had some pretty demanding classes this semester. I took a screenwriting class this semester and I now have a product I'm quite proud of. My first screenplay done! Well...at least for now, I'm sure I'll change it soon enough, but for now I finished it. What a relief! I' should be around more now that the semester is over as of tommorrow.

Wow, you finished a script! I must worship you! :)

That aint sarcasm, I have been trying for months now. I hate my imagination.

Gonna try and sell the script?

Eventually I'll try and sale it. But I'm going to want to improve it before I ship it to the wolves in Hollywood. :) As for "worshiping me"....if your grade depended on getting it done, you'd write too. :) This draft ended at 105 pages, which isn't too bad.

According to Bruce Campbell, that will be about 1hr 40 then

The rule of thumb is a page of script is about a minute of screen time(give or take).

Congrats CMJ! Any chance we could read it? Or maybe get a synopsis of it?

Well done CMJ. I'm struggling to finish my script for a 15 minute short that I'm hoping to shoot next year.It must be very satisfying indeed to complete a 105 page draft that you are reasonably happy with.

I'm sure I'll let some of you guys read it eventually.. :) I am also trying to help one of my friends write a script for his 15 minute short next semester(he's one of the producers in Advanced Film...which is the final film class here...unfortuantely I lost out on director).
