Weekend BO Numbers?

I'm confused.

Something seems weird with the reported numbers. Why does it seem that they always screw things up on Holiday weekends (maybe not always :p ).


Lee's Movie info is reporting numbers significantly different from the Friday and Staurday numbers reported by ShowBizData.com.

Here is Yahoo's report it says Hannible made 30 million for the three days the rest of the top 5
Down to Earth 17.5
Recess 10.8
Sweet November 10.6
Crouching Tiger 8.8
That sounds about right considering Friday's numbers what did Lee report.

I'm not sure those numbers are gone. Lee stated that the numbers from Friday looked off.

There were several movies with more than 4 or 5 million of Friday. (7 I think).

Supposedly Hannibal made 12 million on Friday, then 19 on Saturday. But it only made abotu 30 million for the whole weekend.

The studio's consistently mess up holiday Friday;s Sometimes they are too low...but this time they really overestimated evrything. I was like you Darth23...the original numbers seemed very strange.

yeah, they would have ended up with like 7 movies over 10 million.
