Looks like Say it Ain't So opens on the 23rd (whatever it is).
Exit Wounds could have a shot at the top spot - depending on how many screens it plays on.

star in Say it isn't so, the Farrelly bros. new movie. I think Enemy at the Gates will win the weekend, followed by the Mexican, and then Say it ain't so, and then maybe Exit Wounds. No one cares about Seagal anymore. Even when he was *cool*, no one really cared! :)

DMX is kind of popular, though. Plus the BO is pretty slow right now.
Say it Ain't So WON'T win this weekend......
cause it's not opening until NEXT weekend.

This from Lee's Movie Info:
"Predicted Screen Counts
Enemy at the Gates: 1500 - 2000
Exit Wounds: 2700"
Looks like EW will have a big advantage.

I bet Enemy at the Gates has a much longer running time as well. Do we really need 2 1/2 hours for Segal to break everyone's arm and save the day? He usually does the job in just over 90 minutes. HG's movie looks like it might be funny but nothing really jumps out does it? If I were seeing anything this weekend it would be in this order;
1. Enemy
2. Say It Ain't So
3. Exit Wounds

Except that Say it Ain't So won't start until NEXT WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!!
3/23, NOT 3/16.
comprende?
I think I'm repeating myself.

Hee hee
Friday:
Exit Wounds : 6.3 million - 2800 screens
Enemy at the Gates: 4.8 million - 1500 screens
The Mexican: 2.5 million - 3100 screens
Never underestimate the power of screen count. I can't really see the latest Julia Roberts movie making it to 100 million.
Looks like Traffic and Crouching Tiger might both hit that mark this weekend.

Indeed.
Crouching Tiger could go on to make around $115 million or more if the Oscars are kind to it. Usually Oscar gold means box office gold.
Too bad Enemy at the Gates wasn't #1, that movie is probably far better than Exit Wounds, but I will go find out in about 2 hours, I'm seeing Exit Wounds too. I just am assuming that a true World War II story is better than another Steven Segal movie, though this one does look cool.
