Memorial Day

Today in the US we celebrate Memorial Day. Remember, this day is meant to be more than the beginning of summer and the BO season. Take a moment to remember the brave men and women who made the ULTIMATE sacrifice for their country. There's nothing wrong with going on a picnic or enjoying a movie in a nice theater, but please take a moment to reflect and give thanks to those who helped make it possible.

is Memorial Day about all times, or just the World Wars? I never found out

All wars and military operations really. There have been Memorial Day celebrations across the US since 1865. The official holiday we have now was set in place I believe around 1960. Even today, different states celebrate Memorial Day at different times in May. Some states have a set day while others celebrate the more traditional last Monday of May.
