Summer Box Office Contest Round 6 - June 8

Here we go again.

The 5 top spots are all pretty much up for grabs this week. After three new movies last week, there are two more wide release openings this week which should really shake things up. The sci-fi-comedy-action flick Evolution debuts this week, along with the Travolta-Berre-Jackman Cyber Heist vehicle Swordfish.

Pearl Harbor and Shrek should continue to battle for supremacy. Shrek won on Sunday, and has been getting closer to PH all week. It will further expand from [an] already ridiculous 3600 screens to over 3700 on Friday, following movie theaters favorite activity - chasing after last week's money. :p

You know the rules: Pick the top five movies at the Box Office this weekend, along with their totals for the F-Sun period. Deadline is Friday night midnight PDT - 3:00 am EDT. You can revise your estimates as much as you want until then.

I'm kicking myself right now, I was going to pick swordfish #1 but then I read all the predictions and went against my gut. One question Darth did anybody pick it #1 if not I guess we all underestimated it.

I only got two of the films in the right order and I wasn't far off on Swordfish in terms of how much it made but other than that I didn't do that well. I know I should have picked swordfish #1 I should have went with my gut instead of following these idiot predictions from box office guru etc.
