Another week, another challenge. The long awaited (?) Scary Movie 2 opened Wednesday, along with the potentially very funny Cats and Dogs. Friday will see the release of the new Jet Li - Bridget Fonda action flick Kiss of the Dragon, Directed by Luc Besson.

Deadline 3:00 am EDT, post the top five movies for the weekend and their grosses.

CATS AND DOGS did really well yesterday. So did SCARY MOVIE 2 for that matter.

I think Wednesday and Thursday's numbers will take away from the weekend performance. Especially for Scary movie, since it had a definite built in audience who wanted to see it early on. I was surprised that Cats beat it.

Your post was really really late. I don't think I can accept it because Fridays numbers were out before you posted. (even though you apparently didn't look at them, judging from your guesses).

The deadline is Friday night / Saturday morning 12:00 midnight (EDT). I can accept guesses up until Saturday morning but once Friday's numbers are posted I can't really accept any more entires.
