Sequel to Trainspotting?

Irvine Welsh(think it's him) is writing the follow up to his novel Trainspotting. Entitled Porno, it's about the characters ten years on. All that is known is that Sick Boy went back to Scotland and did porn films (hence the title). His books are all under option, so this can be made into a film

I enjoyed TRAINSPOTTING, but I have a hard time imagining a follow up.
