Box Office Contest - August 24

So many movies, so few choices.

There's like 60 new movies opening this week, well, at least 13, including independent and limited release films. 5 flicks are opening wide: Woody Allen's 40's screwball comedy Curse of the Jade Scorpion, the Freddie Prinze Jr. Baseball, Beer 'n Babes epic Summer Catch, Disney's sensitive, heart-warming fish-out-of-water road picture, Bubble Boy, and John Carpenter's sci-fi-horror-action extravagnaza Final Fant- er I mean Ghosts of Mars will all challenge New Joisey-ite Kevin Smith's Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

How the new mostly weak entries will fair against the holdovers is the big question of the week.

This is the last regular weekend, next week is Labor Day so it will be a 4 day double point round.

Pick the top 5 moives, and their grosses,deadline Friday night, midnight PDT, etc., etc, yadda, yadda, yadda.
