how many more releases?

how many more times do you think the original trilogy will be re released with additions, subtractions, changes, refinements etc... i think the one on dvd may be the last for the original trilogy. or second last, when episode 3 is done, it may be worked on again...

thoughts?

i think 2 more times,
one VHS box set with all 6, then a DVD set a little bit later with all 6

from what i can gather, the original trilogy will be re released on VHS this fall. then TPM dvd next spring then the OT on DVD for the fall of 2001 (maybe those 2 in reverse order) then episode 2, then 3, then the saga released together. then all 6 get slightly reworked, released again to theaters for ANH 30th anniversary, then to VHS & DVD. then for any significant anniversary thereafter...star wars will never eeeeeever die!

I think new editions will come out every few years as long as GL has the time. I think he's become quite picky now that he's gone back and fixed it once, and he'll keep tinkering with it, never completely happy with the result.
