Reuters reports that director George Lucas is returning to Tunisia to film scenes for the upcoming Star Wars: Episode Two. Tunisian officials say Lucas is due to film in their country this October or early November. Filming will take place in Tatouine, 300 miles south of Tunis, the same area he filmed in 1977 as the arid planet, Tatooine.

Thanks to Lucas, Tatouine is one of Tunisia's leading tourist attractions, where locals stage "Star Wars Tours" of the area.

those tours have been going on for afew years now,
the one ive heard about is done by a guy who worked on ROTJ he takes you out and shows you the area where the scenes were filmed, shows where the moseisly set was for ANH,
so its pretty much a tour of sand, sand, and more sand, :)
