supposedly she's supposed to be only 16 in episode 2. correct me if i'm wrong, but 16 yrs old in ep.2 plus the 20 years until ANH makes her 36. she does NOT look no 36 in ANH. i realize that these are very unconfirmed rumors, but what kind of idiot would even make something up like that? unless of course, i'm the one being the idiot... :)

well the heat and the blowing sand can do terrible things to the skin, but id think of her closer to mid forties to early 50s anyways (in ANH that is)

i just checked out imdb.com and it says that she was born in 1922. ANH was filmed in roughly 1975-76 (i guess) so that would have made her 53-54 years old.
