Something about 3PO in ESB

I never noticed this until last night when watching ESB (again!!) with my son. When Leia kisses Luke (you know when I'm talking about), 3PO rushes up and "stares" at her like he can't believe what she did. It's like he knows that they are brother and sister and he is shocked by the kiss or something. Hmmmmmmmmm?
