There is a scene in Episode II involving rain. One of the lightsaber battles take place in the rain. As the fighters battle, the rain hits their sabers and sizzles. It promises to be an incredibly stunning sight. ILM and Ben Burtt will have their hands full.

here's an update on this lightsaber in the rain thing:

The final battle of Seven Samurai occurs in the rain.
The entire sequence actually stretches over a few days, but the last portion of the confrontation occurs in the rain. The Samurai think they've won and let their guard down, and most of them are alive at this point. But they discover they were wrong, and before they know it, most of them are dead. Only three of the seven make it out alive: the old master, the young apprentice, and only one of their fellow samurai.

GL has derived ideas from other Kurosawa films. This could very well be one of them. But most importantly, it's not done comically at all. It's deathly serious. In fact, the hindrance they suffer because of the rain adds an extra element to the danger they all face.
