The Senate (SPOILERS)

I was perusing the official site and saw a section on the members of Galactic Senate. I took a look, assuming there would be some pictures and a few little bios, like they did with the Jedi Council members a while back. I was half right.
While they had a little biography for eight different Senate members, these weren't your typical EU-style bios. In fact, they specifically mentioned that the Senators served "during Chancellor Valorum's rule, as well as ten years into Palpatine's term as Supreme Chancellor."! I was surprised because the made-up bios don't usually mention anything that will happen in the timeline of the movies.

Here's the tally of who's defintiely returning and who's definitely not, according to the bios:

Returning:
Horox Ryyder (thin-headed guy)
Toonbuck Tora (three-bearded thing)
Orn Free Taa (fat blue guy)
Mas Amedda (blue with horns)

Not returning:
Aks Moe (three-eyed from Malastare)
Sei Taria (female human aide)

So, what does it all mean? Solid info, or just website filler?

I think it's a little of both. It is something that us fans would salivate over,
but if you think about it, does it really matter who from the senate returns?
I mean, hardly any of them had any impact in TPM whatsoever. So we know
who's returning, but I think it's just a cool feature given to us by star wars.com
meant to give us something "official" to talk about.

thier were so many senate members in TPM that i dont see how any of them coming back or not coming back would make any difference in EP2,
they had like 5 seconds of screen time so it wouldnt matter to me if any of them were left out of EP2, since they didnt make any impact in TPM at all
