Twins?

I was just checking out the official site and looking at their snapshot of Queen Amidala revealing her true identity before Boss Nass. Interestingly, the mouse-over pops up the word "Twins". Are we to assume that the handmaiden that "played" the queen (Sabe, was it?) is truly the queen's twin, or they are just twins in the sense that they just look alike. I never thought they were related at all. That would be ironic, being that the Queen bears twins herself. Just interesting...

Not only will Amidala have twins, but one of those (Leia) twins will get twins herself! That could be something GL thought about, cuz if im not misstaking, he thought Jacen, Jaina and Anakin up by himself, weve just heard about them from other writers. So what does that leave us, three generations of twins. Could be something GL thought about...

I'd say, based on the context, that the caption referred to the fact that they looked the same. However, I think Amidala having a twin sister is completely plausible.

LOL, true. Kidnapping/killing the Queen's twin sister would probably be just as rewarding as killing the real one.
