I wasn't his biggest fan, but I don't hate him either. I want him to die, but not for the same reason that most everyone else does, I think it would be traumatic to see him die.

Don't hate him, but I can't say I really like him. I would have rather have seen more R2 & 3PO than so much Jar Jar. It's not so much the character that I didn't like as much the vocal prformance that Ahmed Best gave. That and the dialect Lucas wrote for the character. the performance and the dialect were rather annoying. But that's just my opinion.

I too, would like to see him die. But not because I hate the character. I like to think of his character as a symbol -- the humor that was used with his character as a metaphor. His death would be symbolic of the death of innocence, and the onset of darkness.

I liked Jar Jar. I couldn't and still can't believe all the people that down right detest that character. He was fine. He definetly didn't make or break the movie.
In all of the movie he wasn't in it much either.

i like jar jar. hes not the best character in the star wars universe, but he can sure make the star wars movies funnier!!
