Cool.

I get a sense of 'deja vu' in here... ;)
Anyhoo, I've got a query...

It has to do with the 'visitors' counter at the bottom of the screen.
It appears that it's ONLY functional at the main "breakdown of forums" page.

Is there any way to "segregate" it between forums...?

By that I mean, those of us in the Replica Props Forum find that counter extremely useful in the identification of Trolls lurking in our midst...

Currently, the 'counter' isn't up and running in the individual forums, just the main page.

With the number of different 'factions' (ie. Prop guys, Roleplayers, etc.) that will migrate here, that ONE counter's gonna get overloaded.

So, back to the original point, can you guys make that counter SPECIFIC to the individual forums??

Quit yer bitchin'! :p

Actually it might not get overloaded - all users have a choice to remain invisible.

But I don't know. I just found out I was an admin 5 secs ago, so what do I know? :rollin

Although it's not a standard option, I'm sure that I can implement a hack to have forum specific "Who's Online" boxes. However, like Luke stated, users have the choise to remain Invisible in that area. And it won't overload, either. :)

Well, I wasn't TOO concerned with the 'overloading' issue....

It had more to do with the "Lurking Troll Syndrome" that seems to infect the RPF... ;)

That counter on the old board has been pretty useful in noticing the "vipers" in our midst... ;)

Well, I'll see what I can do in that regard tomorrow. That sound ok? :)

Works for me. :D

[EDIT - Well, I see you managed to take care of the "post count" issue on YOUR account... ;) ...or did you manage to post 9,500 threads in the last 15 minutes and I just didn't see it?? :lol )

I'd like to make an application to have all 7653 posts from ezboard transferred here under my name. :)

Yes, please... might I please be allowed to transfer the 2152 posts I (honestly) have at the old RPF over to here? :)

Geeeeeez.... ;)

Do we have to INDIVIDUALLY ask to get our post counts (3247 ;) ) ported over...???

Or am I getting 'spanked' for zinging Luke Skywalker?? :lol

I think I know the answer. O_o

:lol

[EDIT - WooHoo! I'm not a newbie anymore!! :lol Thanks! ]

Do we have to INDIVIDUALLY ask to get our post counts Well, I'm hoping that I won't have to do 5,000 post count transfers. :p Not everyone cares about their PC. :)

Uhhhh, yes. That's it. :)

:: goes and edits Bill's post count into minus figures ::

Yeah, the only reason I'm concerned about my post count showing is because of the 'trustworthiness' issues in dealing with prop purchases and sales... nobody wants to send a newbie any money. ;) (And it *is* an accurate count of just my RPF posts, not my total EZBoard posts... so I figure it's fair. :))
