View Full Version : Out of Retirement (Cizerack)

Boba Fett
Sep 19th, 2001, 06:24:14 PM

Prologue

(Often he would stare at that helmet and it would remind him of old times. Those were truly the days. He lived for the hunt, as his grandfather "Jaster Mereel" had quite some time ago. After Jaster had went into retirement, he handed down his legacy to his grandson, whom he saw suitable enough to continue the neverending hunt.

After cashing in on some considerable bounties, Dagger took his ship the Slave I and blasted off to the edge of the Galaxy to live a life in solitude and peacefulness. Ironically enough he ended up on Sernpidal. An odd planet with odd people, Dagger soon became accustomed to their ways and even befriended a few. There weren't many humans on Sernpidal, but finally Dagger had found himself at peace.

That pleasant fiction lasted for 7 months. Once again the thrill of the Hunt called out to him like prey. Dagger had recurring dreams of himself running through a forest, seeking his prey, but never had he been able to find it.

Don't do this to yourself Dagger. You quit Bounty Hunting a long time ago. You have a new life now, a better life. He thought to himself more often then not.

But was his life better? Dagger Mereel had trouble deciding that.)

I

(Boba Fett examined himself in his mirror again. He donned the armor he once denied, and it looked magnificent! Old feelings of nostalgia flooded into his mind, along with his never-ending yearning to get back into the "game". Life was a game, and until now he'd been sitting in the sidelines. This was Boba Fett's chance and he would grasp it with pleasure.

The first thing I must do is make people aware that I'm back. And I know just the felinoids to help me with that. Under his mask, Boba Fett smiled for the first time in a long time.

It took 3 standard hours for Fett to uncover and clean the Slave I. Letting a ship go unattended to for 8 months was a good way to collect dust. The Bounty Hunter was glad to note all systems were operational and in good shape. It was just as how he left it. Truly a beautiful and antique ship, and in remarkable condition too.

Oddly enough, he brought next to nothing from his cottage on Sernpidal into the ship. Fett decided it would be good to use as a safe house if he ever needed one.

Activating the NavComputer and typing in the coordinates to his destination brought memories back. In pursuit he had often had to quickly put in the correct coordinates and man the ship at the same time. Such a task wasn't easy.

But soon enough, Fett had raised the ship in the air. As he exited the atmosphere, the Bounty Hunter moved his ship to meet with the hyperspace vector. Instinctively his arm raised up and he pushed the lever forward.

Next stop, Carshoulis Prime. He thought to himself.)

(Boba Fett checked his NavComputer for the third time since he'd left Sernpidal. Was he acting just a little too excited about resurrecting Boba Fett? After he arrived at Carshoulis Prime, Fett's excitement would subside. He had to act like a businessman, a professional. Just like his Grandfather had taught him all those years ago. Fett took a moment to wonder where Jaster Mereel was. He never told anyone where he was going, and just disappeared.

The computer screen indicated he would be exiting Hyperspace in less then twenty minutes. Fett decided he would make sure all his weapons were intact. He held up his left hand and examined the Czerka ZX Miniature Flame Projector along with BlasTech Dur-24 Wrist Lasers. Quite a useful weapon in one on one battle. Along with that, he had a wrist gauntlet on each wrist. They were made of hard duraplast, along with his helmet. On his right wrist, he had a fibercord whip with a grappling device, along with the modified Imperial rifle he toted.

A little down, on his left knee, Fett took a survival knife out of it's patch. This was his most useful tool when he was down and weaponless. It was small and concealable, and Fett was an excellent sword-thrower. Beside that the pouch also held a sonic beam weapon. On his back Fett wore a Mitrinomon Z-6 jetpack, equipped with Directional Thrusters.

But Fett was missing something that his grandfather once wore. It was a Kelvarek Consolidated Arms MM9 Mini Concussion Rocket Launcher. His grandfather used to wear it on his left arm, but lost it in the Sarlacc's belly. Perhaps Boba Fett would make enough money to buy a new upgraded one. Those things weren't cheap toys.)

Beep, Beep, Beep.

(Fett raised his hand to push the lever back as the Slave I exited Hyperspace. With a quick motion of his hands, Boba Fett activated the sublight engines and set them to 2/3 throttle. Carshoulis Prime filled the viewport and with it three Korri Battlecruisers. Fett knew those things could pack a whallop. They were slightly smaller then the Victory Star Destroyer but strong none-the-less.

As soon as his ship was in firing range, Fett raised his shields just in case. He'd never dealt with the Cizerack directly, so he wasn't sure if they were the sort of "shoot first, ask questions later" race. Fett hoped that wasn't the case, or his comeback would be cut short.

He activated his commlink and sent out a message to the Korri Battlecruisers.)

"Honorable Cizerack of Carshoulis Prime, this is Boba Fett. I request to land on your planet in hopes of speaking with someone of authority. Do you copy?"

(The Bounty Hunter's ship was filled with dead silence as he awaited a response.)

The nearest Korri battlegalleon extended a tractor beam to the approaching ship, locking it in place as another drew the craft towards its large main bay. A female voice spoke through the comm system, her accented voice was brusque and to-the-point.

"Cut jyourrr engjinesss and deatjivate ssshjieldsss and weaponsss."

(Fett heard the female Cizerack's voice fill his comm-unit. He was being towed in by their tractor beam. At first Fett saw this as a little strange, but he was never one for commlink chit chat. Silently he followed the orders he was given. In the back of his mind he had a brooding feeling that these Cizerack thought he was there to cause trouble or assassinate their leader.

This is going to be an unpleasant visit if they think I'm on a mission. Fett thought silently.

Once again he checked the power cells in his blaster rifle. They were fully recharged and ready to go. But would he need to use it? Fett didn't think it would be a wise idea to walk down the ramp with a rifle in his hand. He slung it over his shoulder and waited.)

"I have done as you asked."

(His reply came out raspy and calm. His engines died away, along with his shields. It took him a second more to deactivate his weapons systems.)

Slave I was drawn into the massive landing hold of the Sando'Iro'Iro, touching down lightly on the main landing deck. Around the ship, two squads of Hunter Forces assembled, as insurance if this man was the so-called "Boba Fett", and if he decided to attack. Large feline soldiers in red blastoid power armor shuffled about nervously, their modified E-web blaster rifles slung low over their shoulders.

A female with light blonde hair stepped forward. She was clad in an officer's uniform.

"Pjilot, exjit the ssshjip jimmedjiateljy. Brrrjing no weaponsss wjith jyou...orrr jyou wjill be ssshot."

(Not exactly the warmest of welcomes...But what did you expect Fett, a parade? The Bounty Hunter mused.

As ordered, he stripped himself of all of his weapons and hid them away. Fett felt naked without his weapons. He still wore his duraplast armor, his helmet and his jet-pack. Before he exited the ship, Fett grabbed his utility belt and fastened it to his hip.

The ramp lowered with a small whining sound and out stepped Boba Fett in his legendary armor. He held nothing in his gloved hands, and even held them up momentarily for the Cizerack to see. He noted that two squads of the Cizerack Hunter Forces had assembled and each had a blaster. Boba Fett turned his head forward after surveying the hangar. His eyes focused on a female Cizerack clad in an officer's uniform.

Finally, Boba Fett broke the silence by speaking in a humanless and cold voice.)

"Now, may I have permission to land on your planet and speak to someone in charge?"

(The reply came through grit teeth and had a note of impatience in it. Fett didn't like being toyed with, and especially didn't like the idea of being stared at by all these Cizerack. He wished he had his gun present, at least it would make him feel more like his old self again.)

Two guards flanked the mysterious figure, and pressed him against the side of Slave I, quickly padding him down as they searched for hidden weaponry. Their headset visors also scanned his body on the EM range, attempting to detect alloy weapons, or hostile energy signatures. None were found, and the guards brought "Fett" around again, to face their CO.

She took her time, pacing somewhat as she looked at him, her reflection showing in the "T" visor on his Mandalorian helmet. She sniffed at the air, and smiled. This man was either a very practiced liar, or he was the real Boba Fett. She could detect no fear pheromones in his scent.

Of course, she could always have his helmet removed, but then again, the real Boba Fett valued such anonymity. She would grant him that. However, that didn't prevent her from leaning in close, and gazing deeply into the helmet. She purred despite herself. It wasn't often that you met living legends. Eventually, she turned to one of her subordinates.

"Prrreparrre an essscorrrt fljight. jInforrrm the Emjissssssarrrjy that....Boba Fett...jisss herrre to sssee hjim."

The junior officer saluted with a thumping fist to her chest, and left the landing bay. The Huntress Lieutenant, however, stayed where she was, addressing Fett.

"Rrreturrrn to jyourrr ssshjip, and prrreparrre forrr an essscorrrt to the Homeworrrld. Do not devjiate frrrom jyourrr fljight plan."

"As you wish."

(Fett gave the Cizerack Lieutenant a slight nod and spun on his heel. The Bounty Hunter marched back to his ship and walked up the ramp. He turned around one last time to close the ramp. All the Cizerack present watched as Boba Fett disappeared behind the closing ramp and into the darkness of his own ship.

Once Boba Fett was inside, the first thing he did was re-equip himself with all the weaponry he was forced to take off. He counted himself lucky that the Officer did not order him to take off his mask. Fett liked the idea of being secretive and mysterious, it gave him his edge. He had decided to stash his grandfather's Wookiee scalps away. The Cizerack also had fur, and they probably would not appreciate it if he wore them.)

"Bridge light, level 4."

(Instantly the bridge was filled with dim lighting. Boba Fett watched through his viewports as the Cizerack Forces moved away from his ship. Fett activated the repulsorlift thrusters and began to apply power to his sublight engines. Slowly and cautiously his ship left the hangar bay and entered space again. Fett's hands flew over the console as he activated his shields once again. His grandfather's most important lesson had been to never trust anyone. The Bounty Hunter left his weapons system deactivated for the time being.

As his ship moved slowly in space, Boba Fett waited for the escort flight the Lieutenant had promised him.)

From the belly of the battlegalleon, four Keerta fightergrapplers launched, quickly forming up into a tight-escorting box formation around Slave I. They fed Fett's ship their approach vector information, and proceeded at half speed, towards the green and blue planet below.

As the clouds dissipated, the view of the Cizerack homeworld came into picture. Massive buildings of interesting geometric shapes stretched from the tip of the southern continent, halfway up the western seaboard. The Cizerack homeworld of Carshoulis was not as urban as Coruscant or Corellia, but its cities were massively-built, rivaling perhaps Kuat or a similar trade mecca. Complementing Carshoulis Prime's urban setting was the traffic. Approach lanes were set up, full of entering and exiting craft, nav buoys, and other signs of cosmopolitan bustle.

The vector the fightergrapplers took was a military-only course, and it avoided all traffic as it approached the heart of the Cizerack world...the capitol city of Feessarro-Brens.

The ships approached a large pyramid-like structure, with a square indentation in the top, presumably for ships to land. The four Keerta fighters veered off sharply as they approached.

(Fett followed as he was instructed to do. Carshoulis Prime was quite a view for someone who had lived on a simple planet for the past 8 months. It was a nice change of pace, and furthermore, quite a view. One thing about Carshoulis Prime -- as Fett later noted -- it appeared to be very busy. Fett heard that the Cizerack had trade agreements with many worlds and governments.

Perhaps I can upgrade my weaponry here. Fett thought to himself. He looked into the credit sachel that hung at his side. Not nearly enough to buy anything good. The Bounty Hunter would get more, eventually...

A large pyramid-like structure filled the viewports of the Slave I. As his "escorts" moved upward, so did he. All four Keerta fighters, along with the Slave I approached the structure at slow speed. Fett noticed the top was equipped with what seemed to be a landing pad. He brought his ship over it and came to a complete stop, as the fighters did.

Fett activated his repulsorlift systems and landed the ship smoothly. After that had been done, he cut the power to the engines. With a slight whine, the ship came to a complete stop as did the engines.

The Hunter unbuckled himself from his seat and picked up his blaster rifle that hung proudly near the doorway. He slung it around his shoulder and slammed his fist down on a red button. Slowly, his ramp descended to the floor.)

It was him...or at least, somebody with at least enough attention to detail to create a convincing ruse. After all, you didn't find vintage Mandalorian supercommando armor lying in thrift stores. The hardware that Sarrtarroa could see hinted enough to the fact that he was looking at the Boba Fett.

However, Sarrtarroa had many doubts. Boba Fett was less a man and more of a legend. Some said he was a Mandalorian clone, some said he was an opportunist, and some said the he was in fact, a she. There were so many rumors surrounding the mythic hunter that sorting fact from fiction was the most daunting of challenges.

The last Keerrourri had heard, Boba Fett was in the belly of a Tattooine Sarlacc...put there by Luke Skywalker himself. That was years ago, and since then...there had been many "sightings" of Fett. Some, like the case of Jodo Kasst, were revealed as hoaxes or imitations.

Some had yet to be explained.

Although the Emissary had his reservations, the situation was easily intriguing enough for his interests. He smiled, revealing the tips of his canine teeth, gesturing offhandedly to the Hunter Forces guarding the landing pad.

Leave usss.

The guards ambled off, and Sarrtarroa returned his attention to "Boba Fett". His smile widened...his curiosity thirsty. Sniffing at the air, he could detect scent pheromones. Human...male...likely in his twenties or thirties. Sarrtarroa's left eyebrow raised. He either could perpetuate his age with drugs...or this man was not the same as the original Fett. To do all that he had done and still live, Boba Fett would have to be nearly sixty years old.

It mattered little to speculate. Sarrtarroa resumed his smile. He was interested in results first, folklore second.

Welcome to Carrrssshouljisss....Boba Fett.

(Fett gave the felinoid a slight nod, acknowledging the Cizerack's welcome. He chose not to speak at the moment, and rather study his surroundings. These Cizerack had an odd tongue. They emphasized on letters such as "r" and "s". Fett didn't think he would ever get used to the way they spoke, but it was understandable. He determined the creature before him was someone of importance and status.

The Bounty Hunter watched as the guards walked off, obeying this Cizerack's order. Fett gazed past the landing pad, staring at all the different buildings and side-shops. Carshoulis Prime was a merchant's dream. Cizerack were big on trading and establishing good relations with Governments and military factions.

Boba Fett was slightly shorter then the Emissary before him. The Bounty Hunter's eyes shifted to the creature’s sharp claws. Earlier, he'd caught a glimpse of that female Cizerack's fangs when she spoke to him. He'd met a Cizerack before in a fight for a rogue Jedi called Satine Capashen. Fett remembered vividly that Cizerack warriors were excellent fighters.)

"Perhaps we could adjourn to a place a tad more comfortable to speak of business matters."

(The word business seemed to excite the Cizerack in an odd way. The Bounty Hunter stood there, both hands at his side and waited for Keerrourri to answer him.)

"As you wish..."

(Fett replied to the Cizerack Emissary in a non-human voice. His helmet and suit gave him the appearance of a droid from a distance. Underneath all of that he was a human just like any other human. No special growths, no mutated face, as normal as any others.

He began to follow the Cizerack to his office, but then stopped rather abruptly. He waited for Keerrourri to turn around. The felinoid gave him a rather confused face.)

"Call me Boba Fett."

(With those few words, Fett began to walk again. He had said them because Keerrourri called him Mister Fett. Rarely did bounty hunting scum earn the title of "Mister". Besides, Fett didn't really like it. He kept silent as he followed the Emissary.)

Sarrtarroa's office was splendidly adorned. Hardwood furnishings, with silver accents, and terracotta flooring. Around him were statues, pieces of art, and other fine decorations. The Emissary and the mysterious bounty hunter entered, the Cizerack male gesturing to a seat across from his desk.

Come...sssjit, Boba Fett. Would jyou ljike anjythjing to drrrjink?

Sarrtarroa pressed a button, and a small wet-bar rose from the floor next to Fett's seat. In turn, Sarrtarroa removed a bottle of deep-red liquor from his desk, pouring a small amount into a small glass.

(Fett declined as politely as he could with a simple shake of his head, as he sat down. Drinking would mean that Boba Fett would have to take off his helmet, and he did not want to do that. Not here, not now, probably never. Those who actually saw Boba Fett's face never lived long enough to tell about it. It was one of the most important rules his grandfather had ever taught him.

The Bounty Hunter surveyed the office, with a slightly amused look, underneath his helmet. As he suspected the Emissary had decorated his officer with expensive art, some real paintings, others just holographic look alikes. The furniture had been made with a special kind of hardwood, perhaps Nabooian? Fett wasn't quite sure, but didn't dwell on the thought long enough to create an inference.

The Bounty Hunter rose just long enough to relieve the blaster rifle that was jabbing into his back. He laid it carefully beside his chair, on the floor. The intricate designs on the floor impressed him slightly. Cizeracks had quite the penchant for professionalism, along with style. Craning his neck back to face Keerrourri Sarrtarroa, he studied the creature.)

"You seem to know my name..."

(He spoke with a less-than-human voice that sounded flat and emotionless.)

"...Keerrourri Sarrtarroa, I presume?"

(The Cizerack did not seem taken aback or surprised in the least at the fact that Boba Fett knew his name. If there was a list of famous Cizerack throughout the Galaxy, Keerrourri would be on that list. The felinoid was known to most of his own kind as the "Chief Manservant" to the Cizerack Pride Mother herself. Such a prestigeous title gave Keerrourri his fame, and a good pay as well. Fett noted that the Cizerack probably bought all of his office decorations on his own, and some of that stuff did not come cheap at all.

The Cizerack Emissary slightly nodded, solidifying Fett's hypothesis. The Bounty Hunter rested both hands on the chair arms and slouched a little in his seat. Now he was here, in front of the Cizerack Emissary, allowed to speak his mind. Boba Fett was first to break the long silence.)

"Sarrtarroa, I was wondering if you could deliver a message for me, to your many contacts. I am sure at least one of them is in need of my services, and I'd be more then happy to put them as my Priority Bounty if the credits are there."

(Boba Fett slightly leaned forward.)

"Or would you happen to have placed a Bounty on someone?"

(The Hunter was truly interested in what the Felinoid's response would be. Silently, without moving or even twitching he sat in his seat and avidly awaited a response other then soft "mewling". Cizerack were known to unintentionally make that sound when they were not talking.)

(Boba Fett slighlty cocked his head to the side, evaluating the creature before him. What did this felinoid have in mind, in regards to the word "test". Although it bothered Fett only slightly, since he was trained to be ready for anything. Perhaps this Cizerack would ask him to take off his mask. Fett would politely refuse at first, but if the creature was persistent, the Bounty Hunter would not be in the happiest of moods. No one ever told him what to do.

He crossed his arms rather defiantly and took a moment to consider this offer. What did he have to prove to this humanoid? Why did everyone question his authenticity? These questions were beginning to anger him, but he controlled it. Jaster, his grandfather had begun their first training lesson with a story of his adventures on the Queen of the Empire. The Luxury Liner traveled the Galaxy, boasting many accomadations, hotels and shops. It was a two kilometer long ship, not equipped for war, but rather pleasure.

The Boba Fett of old had traveled there in pursuit of catching Rebel Leader Bria Tharen. The Bounty on her head was one hundred thousand credits, not bad at all. In disguise, he'd followed her all the way to her cabin, where she was escorted by three men. Jaster Mereel had taken on all three men and successfully killed each of them. Eventually a Lando Calrissian came in, having made plans with Bria earlier that night. He was also taken hostage by Jaster. Unfortunately the luxury cruiser was boarded by pirates, the leader of which happened to be well acquainted with Lando. Drea Renthal had bargained both Lando and Bria's freedom.

The memory of the story still plagued Fett's mind. He wished he could have been there to see his grandfather in action. But perhaps Keerrourri would only ask him a few questions. After all, a test could mean anything in the Galaxy.)

"If you insist..."

(Fett's voice, otherwise bland and flat had a note of irritation in it. He could have hided it well, but choosed not to. The Mandalorian Hunter waited silently to see what Keerrourri had to say in response to his acceptance of this "test".)

Two male Cizerack burst through the door, fangs and claws bared. One reached Fett first, swatting him out of the chair in which he was sitting. As Fett skidded across the floor, the second pounced, diving toward the bounty hunter, and wrapping him up with his powerful arms in a bear hug. He rose to his feet, applying pressure to Fett's torso as he growled.

Boba Fett
Oct 19th, 2001, 05:48:51 PM
(Boba Fett was not amused one bit. The Cizerack that clenched him in a bear hug tightened his grip considerably in 5 second intervals. This situation would be easily dealt with if Fett were to use one of the many contraptions assorted around his armor. But then what kind of hunter would that make him? These Cizerack would soon become the hunt anyway. Boba's patience was thinning faster then his air supply. He felt the Cizerack strain for a tighter grip in hopes of crushing Fett's hip bones.

The Hunter's elbow wrenched backward, and nailed the Cizerack attacker in the eye. Before the Cizerack could attempt to work out what had just happened, Fett brought his helmet back, and headbutted the creature. If the elbow in the eye hadn't hurt much, this would cause more damage. The reinforced duraplast wasn't indestructable, but it was hard. Only a moment after the second attack, Fett brought his right booted leg up hard. Felxibility was useful in times like these. The Bounty Hunter's bantha hide leather boot hit the creature in the groin.

This gave Fett the needed oppurtunity to wrench the mewling creature's hands from his torso. He quickly stumbled forward, free of the tight hold. Fett caught sight of his blaster rifle, still beneath his chair. He was wondering whether it would be smart to use it, or try to defeat these superhuman felinoids barehanded. Before he even began to think, a paw smacked him in the back of the helmet, sending him stumbling toward the chair. The first Cizerack creature to attack was still in good health, and seemed determined to destroy Fett.

Boba Fett grabbed on to the end of the chair, and swung it around with his moving body. As he suspected the Cizerack had launched itself at him, before he'd even made it to the chair. The piece of furniture, turned into a weapon, smashed against the Cizerack's shoulder. Unfortunately, it only wavered slightly in the air, and crashed full bodied into Boba Fett. The Hunter's vision never wavered, nor blinked that whole time. He went down with the Cizerack hunter, but his hands had found their way on to the creature's throat.

With the help of his foot, providing leverage and an exhausted grunt, Fett shakily launched the creature over his head, and into a nearby wall. The creature didn't hit the wall hard, but it provided Fett with the extra seconds he needed to stand up. The Bounty Hunter launched himself back, toward the doorway. Both creatures were in sight, and slowly recovering.)

This is a nice change. It provides me with the practice I need to re-familiarize myself with the game of the Hunt.

(Fett noted that fact with a surpressed smile under his mask. He went into a fighting stance, both fists raised, and waited for the Cizerack to recover and attack.)

Sarrtarroa watched with curious amusement from his desk, as the two male soldiers recovered their feet, rushing the bounty hunter again. One swiped a clawed hand across Fett's armor, nails on metal screeching loudly as the second Cizerack leapt into a flying tackle. Taking it all in, Keerrourri sipped at his drink, curious to how the hyuu-mann hunter would fare against the felinoid warriors.

Boba Fett
Oct 27th, 2001, 07:59:27 AM
(As quick as lightning, Boba Fett turned to intercept the Cizerack that was about to smash into him. He caught hold of one of the felinoid's arms and fell back with. The Hunter gasped for air when his back smacked into the floor, but the pain was of minimal consequence. His foot instinctively raised, as he used it to propel the warrior over his head, and across the room.

He took the spare moment to examine his armor. The Cizerack had made a visible scratch mark on the antique Mandalorian armor, on his antique armor. Fett rolled to the side, just as the other Cizerack warrior pounced at him. He narrowly missed another strong swipe, by craning his neck far back. Using the brunt power in his legs, he stood up. A hand shot out to block a deadly swipe. The claws ripped into Fett's clothing on his arm, and succeeded in slightly stabbing his lower left arm.

The recent attack did not stop Fett from retaliating, it only made him more determined to win. Growling like a feral beast in the night, he used his other hand to deal a mighty blow. When the fist contacted with the Hunter's face, it sent him stumbling backward. Just as soon as this happened, Fett turned around and ducked over a cuff that would've knocked him out. He swept the second Cizerack off it's feet with one swift kick to the shin. As the animal began to fall back, the first Cizerack shouted a loud cry and raced toward Fett. It used the falling Cizerack's shoulders to propel itself through the air and straight toward the Bounty Hunter.

Fett was not one to stand still and watch himself get slowly pounded into soft dough. He too, took the initiave and ran toward the oncoming Cizerack. Fett stuck his shoulder out like a slamball player did when they raced through the field, and then he leapt into the air. Everything suddenly became so clear to Boba Fett. He couldn't explain it, but he felt it. This was how he felt before he had retired.

A few moments later, he felt an entirely different feeling. The rugged Cizerack hunter clashed into him. Both warriors tried their best to put most of their weight into the class, but obviously the larger felinoid was going to win. Fett fell back, and hit the hardwood, with a grunt. The Cizerack jumped forward, but Fett had already rolled to the side and stood up.

Both Cizerack were up and circling him now. He held up his fists defencively.)

I'll have to finish these thugs off quickly. This next round, there'll be no mercy from me.
