In the bottom right-hand corner of the forum summary page, there is a "Log Out" link. Right next to that is the "Mark All Forums Read" link. And, unlike EZboard, this one doesnt delete your account. :p

Can you explain why you think 180x180 is too large? Ogre set the size, and I agree that it seems reasonable. Perhaps we could compromise and knock it down to 150x150?

Nup - I'm stuck on a lousy 640x480 on my current computer, and the pics take up almost a third of the screen. :(

Actually, Jedah just brought up some valid points about that: Namely, that since it displays the whole thread in the iFrame, it causes all the images to load again (slowing down loading times and sucking more bandwith). Also, it takes longer to scroll through that and find a specific post since it's not text-only. Once I figure out a way to make it text-only, I'll put it back.

What about some of that CSS code that disables images like what you used in an ezboard profile? Maybe it could be done so that href'd images could also be hidden? I'm not sure if that atually makes it so the images don't load but its a thought.

This is Jeseth, for anyone that doesn't know. I changed the Jeseth Cloak accounts email address and now it's not letting me make any posts... What's the reason for that? it hasn't sent me any registration e-mails or anything of that kind...

That should be fixed now. :) When you change your e-mail, it sends out another confirmation message. Sometimes, this takes awhile (as it's dependant on your mail service and their traffic, a lot of the time).

About posticons... are they enabled in the roleplaying and story telling forums? They seem to be useless in those cases and only add clutter - And by any chance is the layout going to be changed for the way forums are listed? Like instead of having it so that the thread started is listed right after the subject of the thread, and that maybe the thread starter is listed last and the last poster is listed in the middle right after the number of views? I was just wondering since it would give this place a kind of "home" feel like the old board... And is the rating colum going to remain as well? I've noticed they haven't been used...

I didn't quite follow your message Jeseth, but from what I can gather the format you see the forums currently in is pretty much the standard for vB. I'm not 100% sure but I don't think you can rearrange the columns and the like to make it like ezboard.

I think anything over 100 pixels is too much for an avatar. A even more reasonable size is to limit them to 64 x 64. Do that and you don't have to worry too much about hacking the forum to turn them off per post. You also don't get complaints about load times.

Well, at the old board, Personal Pictures (Avatars) were limited to 60x60, and most posters still liked to turn them off after the first post or two. 180x180 is a tad large, I'll admit - I've been thinking about trimming it to 150x150. But my avatar is a little over 100px high, and it doesn't seem excessive to me.

I do think you should not try to recreate the ezboard experience since ezboard is controlled by the dark side.

If you come up with earth shattering suggestions I can consider them for inclusion in the next version but I can say a checkbox for "enable avatar in this post" won't be one of them ;) You would be the first person, ime, to request such a thing.
