Hey all, shameless plug from me.

I'm getting in contact with all of you to share an event that my company, Planetary Resources, is launching right now.

If you haven't heard, Planetary Resources is a company founded by Peter Diamandis and Eric Anderson and employed by quite a few former NASA JPL engineers with the goal of being the first company to identify, prospect, and mine near-earth asteroids for resources.

The company was publicly announced just over a year ago and since than has greatly increased in size and made tremendous progress on the first iteration of our spacecraft.

Today we are launching a concurrent project, a kickstarter campaign for a publicly available variant of one of our spacecraft that will make space exploration more engaging and accessible for the public around the world.

We're hosting the launch event at the Museum of Flight in Seattle where in front of an iconic SR-71 Blackbird along with many of our dedicated Vanguards, everyday people from literally around the world who support what we are trying to accomplish, who are travelling here just to help us out.

We will be hosting a live stream of the press at 10am Pacific Time (PDT) at the following link:

This afternoon at 3:30pm for another live stream featuring Brent Spinner (Star Trek's Lt. Commander Data) and vLogger Hank Green as hosts to the show with many guest appearances from professionals, celebrities, and everyday people that are working to spread the news, generate enthusiasm about space exploration, and help make the cosmos more accessible and interactive for everyone.

And the actual kick starter page is here:

I would love if you could all share these links and email with those you think might be interested (friends, family, coworkers, acquaintances). Thank you for all your help and support.

Be aware that the livestream has been having issues due to dealing with the Museum of Flight setup that weren't present during testing so stay tuned in that regard.
