Since I've just been besieged with "uh are you ok Holly?" messages, Yes, I am Fine. The Truth is a story concept I've been mulling over for a while, and my main character is a mom who starts off the story suffering from post-partum psychosis and commits suicide.

Apologies to everyone who freaked out, there is more story coming.

The Richardsons
Sarah Richardson - Mother of three, suffering from postpartum psychosis (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Postpartum_psychosis). Her stint in a mental hospital for treatment leads to a further diagnosis of possible schizophrenia once she begins to hear voices.
Joel Richardson - Sarah's husband, hard working and at the end of his rope trying to get help for his wife and take care of his three young children.
Robert "Bobby", Molly, and Violet - the kids, 4, 2, and newborn, respectively.

Green Acres Hospital

Danny Larson - trauma victim, completely catatonic and unresponsive. Home invasion, family was tied up and tortured and then the house was set on fire. He managed to get free but couldn't save the others.

Terms
Truth - a new drug, effects include euphoria and visual hallucinations. Some say Truth gives the user the ability to know when someone is lying (telepathic effects?). It is being tested by the FDA (?) but currently only the tabloids give any credence to it's more comic book properties. When one ODs on Truth and dies, then is revived, the brain undergoes a chemical transformation, unlocking super-human abilities. Resurrection is spontaneous in the compatible, though can be achieved through emergency medical attention as well.

Next post is a little shorter so I'm posting it earlier than Saturday. I also realized that 3-11s as a gang name = the KKK, which is probably a real thing and why that name popped into my head initially years ago, so I'm going to rename my made up gang as the Tres Perros, led by three bad dudes. Or something. Ah well.
