a message about bacon is never too short...

On the contrary, any message about bacon that is shorter than "Bacon sucks, gimme real food" is definatly too short. Yes I loooooooove meat but bacon? This isnt the 1700's where bacon was a valid way to preserve meat - all those salts and curing processes are NOT healthy for you and neither is the vast amounts of fats.

Plus frankly bacon doesnt taste that good either.

I'll be getting there! Just trying to figure out how to play it with a controller rather than the keyboard and mouse. Imperials, I'm guessing?

Sep 12th, 2013, 06:04:34 PM
I don't think it's possible to play it without a keyboard and mouse, to be honest. It's one of those games that requires the use of numerous keys and the sort of multitasking a controller just isn't fit for. Maybe I'm wrong but I can't wrap my head round the idea. Let me know how it goes.

And yes, Sith Empire all the way!

Edit: Apparently using a controller with SWTOR is not unheard of - colour me surprised! Now I am intrigued...

Vince
Sep 13th, 2013, 08:38:21 AM
I prefer to play most games with a controller, to be honest. I end up using only a few moves or establishing a system of moves and counter moves that I find it easier to do with a controller. However, it seems that none of the games I have now will let me use the controller I have to play them without some profile configuration, and my attempt at it was confused and very lackluster.

Now there's an agent called Valentinian on the Freedon Nadd server, though. And I tried to make Ben, but though the look was all right, the attitude was mostly waaaay off.

Hmm. If people are playing TOR again, I might fire it up and give it another go. Are there any Sith classes that are lacking at the moment Droo, or any that are way too overplayed? I don't particularly mind which Sith class I play, so I'd rather be one that's going to be useful / not dime-a-dozen.

I'm also missing my Trooper a little bit, if anyone fancies doing a Republic character as well.

Possibly going to delete my characters and start over. I always struggle picking up where I left off in computer games, and I haven't played in over a year: I don't remember a damned thing about how to play them, the storylines, the personality I had in mind for picking conversation options, or any of that junk.

The only thing giving me pause is a) Taris, which was hell to drag an Agent through, and b) the fact that I have a L41 Chiss, and getting an L50 Chiss would unlock shizzle.

Hmm. :\

i wouldn't get an infant's ears pierced because that is 100% a painful cosmetic choice you're making for someone who in incapable of making any decisions. It would be just for your benefit. It doesn't have to do with how your child feels or what she wants, it is all about You.

maybe I'm just angry I had to wait until I was 13 to get my ears pierced. :colbert

First of all that would be additional work next to changing diapers and you basicly give your child something to play with that will most likely fuck up the childs ear shape due to the whole playfull pulling and if one of those ear rings ever gets off it will end up in the childs mouth at some point.

So yes Holly you are right simply for savety reasons. ;)

I never understood the strange phenomenon of circumcision outside of religious reasons, which is also a terrible reason, and medical reasons. And for those who claim it is for hygiene reasons, well, isn't that like cutting your hands off to prevent them getting dirty? Then there's the matter of female circumcision, which is just another level of cruelty and madness.

Comprehension of the baby piercing thing, however, is within my grasp. People can be utterly stupid.

They've already done the piercing...their baby has a hearing aid as well and doesn't mess with that so they're pretty confident that she isn't going to pull on the earrings. Well, and it will HURT right now if she does, that's reason enough not to touch them.

But yeah. Plus I remember the stuff I had to put on my ears after they were done and it stung every time. :x

I take a lot of joy out of seeing the happiness that people'skids bring them and I laugh at all of the goofy stories they tell me because I legitimately find them funny while at the same time admiring the sheer strength it takes to raise a child (let alone more than one) in today's world.

Bushfires are scary as hellI can't even imagine...please stay safe!

On another note, listening to someone trying to run down the street in high heels and cursing some random guy with every out-of sync rushed step is hilarious. Annnnd...she missed the train. *snickers* I think I feel bad for the guy.

Something pretty that makes you happy, Holly. That way you'll be comfortable and able to enjoy it.

Something pretty that makes you happy?

Does that mean that Chris Hemsworth counts as appropriate wedding attire?

:uhoh

I seriously hope you did the drunk giraffe dance. You can't go to a wedding wearing a bowtie and not do the drunk giraffe. That's the rule!
