Zeke

Because I need help with ideas and I don't have time to sit on AIM and stalk anyone. So here's the plan(s) so far:
Zeke, Carol, Cassandra—Zeke's going to be training Sindy on Ossus and helping the Jedi get their feet under them. This may or may not cause him to drift apart from his family. Still hashing out that idea. By this point he'll have settled with the loss of his old ships and business.
With the Alliance of Free Planets established, Carol will want the business and ship back. If she can get a decommissioned Wheel ship, that'd be fantastic. If possible, she'll go back to running the old business inside AFP territory.
Cassie won't want to stay on Ossus OR be part of the company. I may send her to an Academy or University somewhere.
Part of the issue with the time skip is that it takes a lot of the drama out of their situation. Unless I really just wanna play out their arguments over being stuck on the Wheel, the time skip neatly wraps up everything with a quick “After some arguing, stress, and consternation, the Saska family got their acts together”...so now I'm not sure what to do with them.
Zenas Codrey--Who got Shili? The Empire or the AFP? I'm thinking of just cutting off the old “hunting for my mother” arc that's dragged so horribly and have him be intercepted by agents of the government. The thing of it becomes If Empire, then Imperial Knights; If AFP, then Jedi as his main opponents, so I'd need to borrow one or more of the appropriate faction to corner Zenas at his family's home so he can show what he's learned in his life and be shunned forever by his nuclear family/his old Togruta clan. Then, fight and evade Imperial Knights or Jedi Knights, or maybe get caught (though if he's going to get caught, I'd prefer Jedi).
In place of a true family, Zenas will take an apprentice to teach his Force powers and lightsaber skills to, and to try to take care of as a surrogate child/brother/sister.
I'd also had an idea that, should this apprentice become injured beyond Zenas's ability to treat him/her, he might stumble on the Wheel and make a deal with them to have his apprentice treated with Bacta in exchange for maybe training Padawans in Form V or some other Force skill (knowing from his old Master that Jedi Masters and Knights are few, and they're likely to be hurting for training). This would naturally create some drama as the Knights and Masters fret over him corrupting Padawans to darkness or sabotaging their Order in some other way that maybe I didn't think of because it's late and Korean classes are a brain drainer. Now that the Jedi are on Ossus, Zenas being captured and made to train Padawans under supervision of a Master/Knight as “community service” might work instead. Bottom line: I want Zenas to interact with Jedi beyond the scope of “Let's You and Him Fight.” This seemed a fun way to do that.
Also, he'll continue to work for Decepis/Acera. Need to get with Charley and Christin about that stuff, somehow.
Zhe'chot—I need to post a solo thread outlining his experiences with Imperial Army Basic Combat Training. That'll go up soon. The galactic cold war puts him in a bit of a bind because now he's got less fighting to do, and that's the whole reason he signed up. He once mused that he'd switch sides if the Rebellion were a legitimate government. Now they are, so maybe he could defect. I was thinking he could get curb stomped by one/more of the Novgorod special forces, captured, and then defect to the AFP army and get a little more respect.
