With the new forum, I figured lets start a new topic. March Madness is in full swing and this year looks like one of the most unpredictable tourneys that I have ever seen. There is no dominant team. I think a lot of teams could win this thing. I kind of like Gonzaga right now. They are playing pretty good and should get a number 1 seed as long as they win their conference tournament tomorrow. The next several weeks should be exciting.

Today is the end of the Big East or at least how we know of it. I thought was a cool video as tribute. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwqDOdP2lA0

Oregon is in as a 12th seed so I suppose I'll be half paying attention to this.

Oregon got underseeded, IMO. I actually see them being dangerous. Don't see them beating Louisville, but they can get to the Sweet 16.

Oregon has slain it's first opponent. :)

My FB feed got blown up with a bunch of folks all supermad about Georgetown, so I was entertained.

Seriously its the worst year to make a bracket what did you expect?

Yeah its too unpredictable, although I think Louisville is clearly the best team. However, after that it is throwing darts.
As for today, only one upset so far with Oregon taking out St Louis, but don't see them beating Louisville.

I know nobody gives a shit about the NIT, but we beat Stanford to advance, so we're only a few more wins away from a gift certificate to Applebees or whatever you get for winning the NIT!

lol well I think they get a trophy for winning the NIT not sure if they get anything else.

Anthony Grant gets one more set of dirty looks and a reluctant paycheck.

We're paying that guy too much money to constantly miss the tourney each year.

I was shocked how bad Marquette beat Miami. Syracuse dominated Indiana as well. Pretty good day for the Big East and with Louisville tomorrow, they would have 3 teams in the elite 8.

It's not a bad way to go out for the Big East. At least one team is making it to the Final Four! Here's to hoping it's 'Cuse. :D

I think Louisville will get there as well. They are just dominant. They did let up a little bit against Oregon, but they dominated most of that game. I see them beating either Michigan St. or Duke.

Louisville wins, but what a gruesome injury with the young Louisville guard. I am glad I missed it, and won't go look for that him breaking his leg. Louisville looks amazing, and who knows we might have an all big east final. It would be a great way for the Big East Conference to go out.

You know the leg break was terrible when they wouldn't even reshow it on the news. Just watching the reactions of everyone else was enough. :x

Yeah it was very gruesome. I don't even want to see the replay.

I didn't see it during the actual game, but after facebook blew up with everyone saying worst injury ever... I got curious. Yahoo! had a clip of it. Holy crap. :whaa >_< :x

It'd be awesome to see Louisville vs. 'Cuse in the finals. Great way to end the conferense, plus - their past 3 games this season have been nothing but fun to watch.

Yeah that would be cool, what is more unbelievable is in the women's final four there are 3 Big East Teams. So, the Big East is going out great in both men's and women's basketball.

Louisville advances after an amazing comeback being down 12 with 13 minutes left. I have to say Wichita had a great tourney and have nothing to be ashamed of.

Michigan barely survives, but they didn't look good the last five minutes. Also, I think there were two bad calls against Syracuse. I think Louisville wins on Monday.

Great game...fantastic tournament. Louisville is a worthy champion.

Yeah I agree one of the best title games that I have seen in a while. Louisville played great in the second half, and it is a historic win with Pitino being the first coach to win at two different schools.

I think in the last ten years I'd have it behind 2005, 2008, and 2010. But it was still a very fun game to watch.

I didn't care for the 2010 game as much because it was kind of ugly, but yeah probably behind the other two. However, it was probably the best final four in a long time. Can't remember the last time we had 3 close games.

I think the 2010 Final was actually the best final of my lifetime. No one led by more than about 5 points the entire game. Every possession felt like it was life and death.
