So this past year was pretty fantastic for me. Sold four short stories, got married, got accepted to grad school, getting ready to attend a book launch for an anthology that includes a story of mine. I just wanted to pop in and thank all y'all for being a big influence on my writing. I honestly think SWFans played as big a role in developing my assorted skillz as, say, taking a creative writing course a while back, or reading The Elements of Style. So thanks, folks.

Great to hear from you, man! Certainly been a while and... wow, you really did have a fantastic year! Amazing stuff. You are so welcome.

Let us know about where we can read your stuff, yeah? We'd be very glad to do so! :glomp

Hello stranger. I hope it means something when I say that out of all the people who have come and gone on this board you are one of the people I have always missed the most. It's great to see you pop in and I'm glad we could have influenced your success.

Congrats!

Congratulations!! I hope this year proves just as fruitful!

I, unfortunately, don't recognize your name and am sad I hadn't met you!

Holy crap, it's Zereth. Getting you to Knight was one of the highlights of my time at TSC. :D

Thanks for the kind words, folks. Uh, let's see -- here's one I'm moderately proud of. Sort of a sci-fi snapshot of radicalization in progress. It's not a great story -- first one I sold for actual money -- but it's worth a minute.

Yeah, Callista, we must have missed each other. I was here pretty consistently for a few years -- starting in 2003, I think, under this name. I don't remember re-creating my account on '09, but I suppose I must have, and I seriously thought I'd posted more since then. Lots of good memories here. Screwing around with Malice, Sorsha, Dae, Southstar...spending Christmas Day kicking the crap out of Dalamar...facing off with the Inquisition...

NICE! I like the style :)

I know all of those people! But I've never been super active on Fans (could you tell by my post count and join date? Lol).

Heh, well, I had two or three thousand posts, nothing major, starting in '03. Je'gan was always my main handle.
