I've been keeping half an eye out on this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Trek_%282013_video_game%29) for a while. Normally, when they make a game to tie in with a movie, I hate it: you play vaguely the same story as the movie, but then they have to add in all this extra crap to make it interesting.
Not so in this case.
Rather than retell the story of Star Trek or Into Darkness, this game is going to be set between the two and, from what I gather, features the newly minted Enterprise crew going up against the Gorn: for the uninitiated, that's the dinosaur dude with the sparkly eyes that Captain Kirk beat up in the original series.
On top of that, while it is a single-player game there is the option to play the game co-op. You will be able to choose between playing as either Kirk or Spock (and the two characters will have appropriate different abilities), and another player will be able to drop in during gameplay and take control of whichever one you happen to not be using.
It's apparently voiced by the proper cast, and from the look of the footage they just released, it actually doesn't look half bad. It's almost got a Mass Effect vibe to it somehow... though maybe that's just me craving more ME.

It comes out in April, and I have my fingers really firmly crossed: it's about time they made us a decent Star Trek game again.
