Just finished uploading Episode 1 of my new Let's Play. With the release of System Shock 2 on GOG.com I thought I'd start a new game and share one of my all-time favourite games with everyone!

System Shock 2 - Episode 2 is recorded. Around 1 hour and 40 minutes so 5 parts this time. It's late now so I don't have time to edit it together. I'll leave my computer on while I sleep (up for work in 5 hours, lol) and let it run through my cool little colour-correction fix.

Some games don't like FRAPS and come out very dark, such as games on the DarkEngine (how ironic). Minecraft does the same thng to a lesser extent. But I found a cool method of restoring the footage to the correct brightness which has the added benefit of drastically reducing the filesize before I edit in Adobe Premiere, which makes the final encoded files around half the size they would have been - handy when your upload speed is shit!

Hopefully I'll get this episode up either late tomorrow night or on Saturday after work.

I'm really enjoying these so far! The info at the beginning would be a really cool "signature" (can't think of a better term) to have on your LP videos. Your relaxed and chatty commentary style works really well... though it has left me with an intense craving for sausage rolls.

I love Criken. All of his funhouse videos are just wonderful. I have to say though that Criken's Cowardly Crusade has replaced the gang's Napoleanic Wars Musical video as my favorite.
