Sticking with the theme of not quite using the name that everyone is familiar with, the CW is planning to build on Arrow's televised DC success with Amazon, a series based on Wonder Woman.

We're still extremely early in the development process, so pretty much everything the internet has to offer is speculation. I however am quietly optimistic. While the NBC pilot last year was something of a shambles, the CW has shown with Arrow that it can take a character with a relatively goofy costume and premise, and actually tell a pretty damned interesting story with it. The birth of the CW also coincides with the point when Smallville started to make considerable improvements. We're also talking about the network responsible for Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries: so they've got a pretty good resume when it comes to the kinds of supernatural/magical enemies that Wonder Woman is likely to face.
Right now, all we know is that the show features Diana and Steve Trevor in some capacity. There's no indication if this will share a universe with either Arrow (I really hope so) or the impending Justice League movie.
