We do not have Netflix in Germany so I would have to go straight for an US account. I guess I would need an address in the US just in case I would need a mailbox and a credit card that is accepted by Netflix plus a yearly tunnelbear account. Sounds like a fair deal to me and according to German law this is also legal...:smug:

Hmm let's see, my to-do list includes as of late; Stop visiting the comment sections of online news sites until my brain fully heals, clean up mah room, clean out mah truck, add Applebee's to mah boycott list (not that I eat there anyways), upload the RPing posts I have for both this site and another site that are sitting on mah laptop atm, and there was one other thing...oh yeah work on getting mah exhaust leak fixed. Argh stop it stop it stop it!!! I can't handle much more stupid!I'm sure a liberal application of Rapidly Approaching Folding Chair will help the matter.

James Callis is on Merlin. One of the main characters is called Gaius. They are currently talking to each other. :cyduck

Fortunately I have a shirt with pandas and folding chair smacking that would apply well to the situation; unfortunately, HR would not find as much humor in the application of said folded chairs as I would. Thank goodness though that I have worked past that day and moved on to the much happier friday night/saturday morning :)
And Jace, it's not so much the 'operaters wetting their pads' rage as it is 'operaters aren't anything but space-wasters :)

So I've been in Singapore for the last few days. Tonight is my last night here. It's an amazing city/country.
I just finished a very late al fresco dinner, with more then a couple of beer. Now I'm enjoying the warm evening on the terrace of my hotel room with another couple of beer.
I can't really complain about life right now, with the exception of one thing that would make this complete...
I wish you were here...

It is beyond me why anyone gives applause in the cinema. It's toe-curling. And unless a member of the cast and crew is there, it's as entirely redundant as clapping alone in your own living room. |I

Wait you don't do that in the living room as well? You are broken ;)

Sometimes I think clapping at the end of a film is okay. If everyone has been really excited by the film and you feel like you're coming out of the experience thinking "FUCK YES!" then I can get behind applause.
e.g. when I went to an overnight marathon of the LOTR trilogy, we all clapped at the end because we were so glad it was over / pleased that we had made it through the night.
There was also applause at the end of Les Mis, actually, now that I think on it. But that film ends so triumphantly that you want to burst out of your chair and do something, so applause works!

^^Agreed. I know at least 2 moments where I applauded in the theater:
1. The Two Towers premiere when Legolas swings on Gimli's horse.
2. Running Scared at the resolution of the episode with the child molesters. It was a sneak preview of that movie and so nobody knew how far they would take this scene.
