The day itself was great as I was off work! The wife got me two tickets to go see Ross Noble so Droo will be joining me on Saturday 6th October for that. Got some t-shirts and around £180 in cash. I spent about £75 of it today in town - the Borderlands 2 Collectors Edition Strategy Guide was the first thing I bought while my missus got her eyebrows tortured.

But the best purchases in several years shortly followed!

The new edition of the awesome Aliens: Colonial Marines Technical Manual which I've only ever seen in PDF format (the original 1995 version). And I also spied a rare collectible on the shelf next to it...

Ailen: The Illustrated Story; Original Art Edition.

Limited to 500 copies worldwide, this enlarged version of the comic has been made form remastered digital prints of the creators original studio artwork, and it's signed by the artist, Walter Simonson! You can even see where it's been tippexed :)

It'll sit proudly next to my signed copy of Necronomicon II in our bookcase next to the DVD case!
