Mustafar
"I wish there was something we could do to help," groused Wing Captain Lockhard, commander of the seventy two A-wings assigned to safeguard Mustafar.
"Keeping this planet safe is about the best we can do at this moment. Later, there might be stuff we can blow up," replied Wing Captain Grouser, who commanded the fresh detachment of thirty six B-wings recently purchased from the Verpines in exchange for high grade processed ore.
"Sullust is under attack by the Empire, there are plenty of Imperial worlds near here, along with the Hydian Way Trade Route," groused Lockhard.
"I'm looking around, but I don't see an Interdictor cruiser around here, do you? Or an 7700 for that matter, I'd like to see how you tried to interdict shipping on the Way. As for Imperial Planets, sooner rather then later they'd figure out where were coming from, then we'd have the whole Atravis Sector fleet breathing down our necks. And wouldn't our commander be happy if she came home to see us fighting to the death with those Bulwarks over there in tatters," sarcastically said Grouser while pointing at the four orbital spacedocks, three of which held Bulwark MK3 Battleships in the final stages of fitting out, with the fourth dock having just taken delivery of a massive Lucrehulk class Battleship.
"There just has to be something we can do," muttered Lockhard.
"There is something we can do, mi amigo. We can make plans, plans for the future, plans so good our boss will want to approve and enact them as soon as she gets home. We got about fifteen planets in the local Sector here ripe for liberation, so let's plan, plan for the future," said Grouser.
"Very well then. For the future," agreed Lockhard.
