My thread that I have here Revenge truly is a dish best served cold. (http://sw-fans.net/forum/showthread.php?t=22506), is starting to pick up a lot of pace and we're seeing somewhat just how far off the wagon our friendly Jedi Master has fallen.

What I'd like to get here is input from the posters I have in there. The general direction I'd like for it to head is somehow he does escape this rather..precarious situation he's gotten himself into. He's most likely going to come out of this with a few scars.

But the problem is that as he tries to escape, he's finding refusal in turning away from the fight. In particular this annoying gnat in Agent Besh (Sorry Vince, nothing but love!) and the appearance of Sarah Lymia.

This is primarily in part due to the huge character flaw in that he see's what he's doing is right and just; it's time for the Empire to pay.

Any thoughts and idea's for this thread are welcome, as are others who might want to join in!

I have no problem with Zasz getting away (Sarah here). Any ideas on how he pulls it off?

Sarah's definitely not as skilled as Zasz when it comes to the force. She just used a lot of energy and power in a short amount of time just to catch up with him.

Inquisitor's also tend to not have as well-rounded practice in the use of the force, instead focusing on a few abilities and specialties.

She will try to get in his head and mess with him, though. Thoughts on how you want this to go?

Having Agent Besh survive is enough of a victory for him. Zasz's escape is pretty much inevitable, if he does manage to pull himself away from the fight. If he doesn't he runs the risk of being overwhelmed.

How you want it to go is up to you, really. Besh and Lymia won't be giving up the chase though, until he's off Bespin. And then you will have a file in the Inquisitoriate's database. Smile! Though the list of survivors of the Inquisition is growing, it's still a very very small list.

This is like two jaguars or leopards circling an angry tiger.

Expect Cavalry to arrive as well. Inquisitor Lymia is one of the highest ranking Inquisitors (along with Valten, Helghast, Atrapes, and Liet, etc.). She's the one who trained and runs the Crimson Guard and she is not happy with Zasz at all.

She is definitely one of the more combat-oriented Inquisitors and a force hunter, along with her retinue of agents/soldiers. I'd expect them to show up in a bit and force Zasz on the run along with Besh and Lymia.

This is by far not the first time Lymia or her retinue have faced down a master-level adept before.

Does Zasz have his own ship or is he going to hijack his way off the planet?

I've no real thoughts on how he pulls it off, especially since now he's getting somewhat caught up in the moment. Really I just see it going from back and forth fighting, he manages a reprieve and gets down a few levels until they catch up again. Though I wouldn't mind changing this at all. Nothing clever designed here, sadly.

And she can try and get in his head all she wants! He is rather stalwart in his beliefs, especially in a combat scenario.

And he has his own ship- but it's not in the landing hangars or docking bays. More or less parked outside/underneath on auto-pilot/coast until he gets into position and sets a beacon to get to it/in it.

I'll be a bit slow in posting the next week and a half or so. I have final and final project plus presentations to get done as the semester wraps up.

I'll crank a quick one out tomorrow when I'm taking a break from working on stuff.

As a head's up, no I haven't forgotten. Still crunching through finals and final projects. The last of them will be done next tuesday so hopefully I'll have some semblance of a normal schedule (including actual sleep) then.

No worries at all, friend! I'm probably going to subsume his escape in this thread while we write the rest of it out just so I can get the character into other..interesting stories.
