Man I swear we need to have a big edit-able narrative of the major plot points available, heh.

Let's see:

The Jedi have amassed a fugitive fleet called the Wheel and are more or less in hiding from the galaxy as they strengthen their numbers.

The Wheel, however, is being compromised from within by Lok s'Ilancy, who is the apprentice to a secret dark lord of the sith, who is a major fleet commander in the Alliance.

The Alliance is harassing the Empire on every front in a hit & fade campaign of small battles and skirmishes. No decisive conflicts have caused changes in power recently. The Alliance did rescue Jedi Master Serena Laran from Coruscant, which was a major coup.
