I've been snooping in and out for the day, and now that I have a moment, I can finally put something up.
Ya'll might have noticed this guy. I was planning on making a droid (a J9 worker drone), but instead I typed this guy's name and had his picture ready before I could stop myself. So I made him, curious as to what I was actually doing.
The thread's literally open to almost anything, but here's some info for anyone curious enough to look, and if they'd like to jump in, please do, because I'm genuinely curious as to what this guy will turn out to be like.
Ruz'im's a Verpine. Basically, these guys are techno-insects, known for their shatter weaponry, excellent droid brains, and being excellent mechanics/engineers. They do a lot of stuff, and they're pretty spread out through the galaxy, though the vast majority live in the Roche Asteroid belt. They're pacifists and haven't taken sides openly in the war, but they do send many things to the Rebellion. They will defend themselves also, though they mainly do that by keeping under the radar, and having some intensively good defensive stations. Some have been Jedi.
I have him with a semi-latent talent for using the Force, but he's entirely focused on using it while he's tinkering with machines and such. A Jedi, or perhaps a Dark-sider of some kind can drop by and notice it, and take him to their side to be trained. He's not technically suited for the Dark Side, but one can fall in many ways.
He's also very indicative of his species by being very curious; he does have a passive mission to find good technology, understand it, and send it back to the Asteroids, kinda like insectoid Quarians. He's dedicated himself to understanding other species' cultures, but is hampered by being mostly unable to think from their point of view.
Here's to hoping I can get this guy active. :)
