Yeah, you heard me. I challenge you to give at least 5 bits of 'rep' (ideally to 5 different posters) for RPing posts in April :D If you'd like to give more than 5 'rep' comments, that's even better!

Just click the little set of scales beneath a post that you like and you can leave feedback for the poster about why you think that particular post was so awesome :)

Since 2006, there have been 2,307 rep comments given :o 186 of those were given in the last 12 months.

Whenever I give out rep I always use this account, and I just discovered there appears to be a problem with my CP, when I tried to access my reputation archive I get the following error message:


Droo, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.So I can't see who I've given rep to, but it's only an issue on this account.

Me, too. My favorite part is that if you click the comment, it takes you right to the post that got the rep-up, so you can see what you did that someone thought was amazing. It's very handy for making the continuous effort to improve your writing.

This whole reputation thing started after I left a while back, I think, so I'm not as clear on it as I probably should be.

I've had some people leave me some awesome comments, but I don't understand how the little colored markers to the left of those comments work. For instance, some are green, and some are silver, but I don't know what that means. Also, I have a certain amount of rep points, but I don't know if those correlate to the messages I've been left.

Is it possible to get a quick run-down on how this all works, for those of us who aren't familiar with it, yet? I checked the Wiki, but I didn't find what I was looking for, there.

What LD said. I view all my little rep comments like trophies. I've read and re-read my solo thread, Terror, so many times, all because of the two rep-ups I received. Same for the fight thread I had against Estelle with Zenas way back. It just feels GOOD.

I only got into the 'repping' thing yesterday. A long time coming. I read things I like - there's a lot of that around here, by the way... you guys are awesome to write alongside with, every single damn one of you and to be honest, I think you all blow me out of the water with your prowess and writing finesse - but I utterly forget that, oh yeah, I could give them props for that.
