It's the end of the world, people, let's get our act together! ;)
Suggest some characters and/or RPs for putting into the wiki - once we have a consensus or a majority, I'll do a write up and :twak and admin until they put it in.
Or maybe I'll ask nicely. :uhoh
INELIGIBLE: previous Focus Characters! http://www.sw-fans.net/wiki/index.php?title=Category:Focus_Characters
(unrelated: I'm putting in quotes of the day, if you have anything you've read or written you want included you can PM it to me (with link to the RP if you can, but not necessary!) and I'll do it up.)

In light of the Star Wars stuff going down at the moment, a Focus Character bit on either General Dan or Zem Vymes might be cool/useful.
Because of the kind of impact it might have on the setting, Firestorm (http://sw-fans.net/forum/showthread.php?t=21965) might make a good Focus RP.
If we're wanting to have something Star Wars (since it's been Mutants for a while) though, I'd like to see Cold Storage (http://sw-fans.net/forum/showthread.php?t=22387) 'cause... you know. Mitch. :ohno

General Dan I think isn't able to be picked since he wasn't active in March but maybe I missed it. :)
Edit: and there are lots of good characters who aren't necessarily 'pivotal' that should be recognized, imo. Not that Zem and Dan aren't valid choices, everyone can vote for whoever they want, but some RPers tend to RP 'smaller' characters and if we only pick giant 'myth-arc' RPs and lynchpin characters we're doing them a disservice.

You didn't mention that rule. ;)
I just suggested someone who was incredibly relevant to the biggest Star Wars arc on the go at the moment, since people might benefit from reading up on him, having attention drawn to threads he's in (that are all relevant to the current arc), etc.
I don't think that's a disservice to anyone at all. :huh

:) of course it isn't I was only suggesting that we don't limit ourselves, not that you can't vote for whoever you like. And you're right, I forgot to add the activity rule.

Ben Merasska has really been coming into his own of late. I nominate him.
I'd nominate "This Message Will Self Destruct" but the only thing recent about it is a 2 post necromancy so I don't know if that would count.
"Night, Walkers" maybe

Not gonna lie, jealous with it. It's a well-described, smartly flowing duel thread.

I also vote for The Valley of Humiliation, and as far as character goes, I think that Cirrsseeto has shown an incredible depth of character not seen before, and I've really been enjoying reading him.

These are the 'winners' of this dubious honor. Unfortunately Ben doesn't have a wiki page! We'll figure something out though, maybe. Eventually!
Fake edit: oops I'm in the wrong account but oh well.

Congratulations!
Maybe this would be an excellent excuse for Mr. Merasska to get around to creating said wiki page. Or... we cobble one together for him.>D

Gah. Wiki page editing? O_o
I can try my hand at it, but I can say nothing for the final product.

Don't worry about looks, just put some biographical content on your page and a wiki wizard can prettify it for you. :)

I put up some biographical information. It's not finished, but something is better than nothing, right? Right?
Right?

Winning RP/RPer of the month is like winning Eurovision. There's prestige, sure, but then you have to work your ass off in the aftermath!

Okay, for Focus Character:
Ben Merasska is an eccentric pilot of a freighter, the Albatross, who is nominally allied with the Rebel Alliance. Ben is Alderaanian, and changed significantly after the planet's destruction and the corresponding deaths of his whole family, with the exceptions of his uncle, [[Denton Hadrana]], who died later from complications after being exposed to a solar flare, and his niece,[[ Esther Hadrana]]. As of the present, he is unaware of Esther's existence.
Ben's journeys have brought him into contact with many different people and creatures, such as [[Lyanie Quez]], an old friend of his, [[Cirrsseeto Raurrssatta]], former Jedi [[Barton Henning]], and Doctor [[Chaz de Coventina]], among others.

Focus RP:
LINK: http://www.sw-fans.net/forum/showthread.php?t=22060
The Exodus burst into the planes of realspace, her articulated wingtips glowing with transdimensional energies, over the cerulean skies of Generis. The world was as beautiful as Solomon remembered, a lush dome of sapphire oceans and emerald mountains. It had once been the site of his redemption. Now, assuming Loklorien received his message, assuming she was in a fit state of mind to act on it, it would either be once more a place of redemption or else, if the worst was true, a place of reckoning.
"Lok," he'd said, "I pray this message finds you well. I have sensed a great disturbance in the Force, a disturbance that surrounds you like a disease. It troubles me greatly, and I fear for your soul. If our friendship ever meant anything to you at all, meet me on Generis at the following coordinates. I will wait there seven days for you. Know, Lok, that you are prayed for, and you are loved. May God go with you on whatever path you tread."
The Exodus bloomed with cleansing fire as she streaked through Generis's upper atmosphere toward the mountains of the northern continent, the resting place for the Cathedral of Stars. There was nothing Solomon could do now but wait. s'Il's fate was in God's hands.

The wiki has been updated :) Shall we beginning voting for May? ;)

Yes!
I think we shouldn't be afraid to just pop into the Focus voting thread and make multiple votes. We have all month after all, we are not limited to just one RP or character that we like.

Woo, thank you guys! I've been really blown away by all the responses to Valley of Humiliation, and I'm glad people seem to have enjoyed it as much as I have. It was one of the best writing experiences I've ever had getting that thread finished.
High-five, Christin! You make an awesome dueling partner. :)
