So, circumstances have arisen which put my return to Botswana on hold indefinitely. This means I've suddenly found myself back in touch with the modern world and clearly the next step is to jump back into RPing. Alas, I have been gone oh so long and I don't know where to start.

So, my darlings, Clifs Notes for what's going on in the X-Men world and SW universe? Ideally I'd like to bring back Polly and Wyl but I've no idea where they fit in at this point in time. :(

Things of Wyl relevance on the wheel, in a nutshell -

The Jedi Council just(ish) found out that Tak's dad is evil. (:ohno) Her Dama is off being nefarious and duelling the preacher-man; she's also sent bald and scary Vega to attack the Wheel, and scare the bajeesus out of the Jedi. Not 100% on where Tak is at this point; that could lead to all kinds of uhoh.

Before all of that, Tak is/was getting babysat by Vansen Tyree while her Dama is off on a mission with your Uncle Inyos; so Tak is on the Rebel ship. She's managed to score piloting lessons with Rogue Squadron though, so you'll be totes jealous when she gets back.

Even more before, we still have the thread where Wyl meets his ghost-dad to finish off, I think. :ohno

So, embarrassingly not much has happened in X-Men since you left... We've actually just been revving back up again in the past week or two. I'll try to give you the rundown of what's relevant to Polly and, since I certainly hope she'll be around, Tess. :)

In the aftermath of the Rally thread, Ginny Hayes is enlisting the help of Aimee Connors and Cameron Bell to hunt down the cybernetic assassin that attacked her back in New York. Unbeknownst to Ginny, she's being manipulated (http://www.sw-fans.net/forum/showthread.php?t=21915) by super-secret counter-mutant paramilitary organization Vanguard in their bid to recover Zero, who's gone AWOL. We might be able to fold Polly into this search, as Vanguard is interconnected with Jericho and has actually been delivering mutant prisoners to their subterranean holding facility at the Jozua Clinic, which I believe is where Polly's brother is held?

We're actually still trying to conclude The Unfixing (http://www.sw-fans.net/forum/showthread.php?t=21837) (Feral's dastardly attack on the House), and in fact someone needs to come find Aidan who's been knocked out trying to contain the explosion from a car bomb.

In Firestorm (http://www.sw-fans.net/forum/showthread.php?t=21965), we have launched the big story wherein Aimee and Jim get captured by the Tres Onces, forcing Aidan to take extraordinary measures to rescue them. I definitely still want to write the fallout between Aidan and Tess afterwards. :)

Others can jump in if I've forgotten anything! It's possible Tess will be interested in Tom Harriman's research project (http://www.sw-fans.net/forum/showthread.php?t=22398)...

Amos & Wyl bromancing things up definitely needs to happen. We've been talking about them for how long now? And yes yes yes, ghost thread finishing is important! There are lightsabers to (nearly)inherit!

Polly would most definitely help out...though it would look more like slouching around angrily rather than actually being helpful. :uhoh (although really, invisibility is pretty handy during any investigation.)
