Okay, so, this is Mitch (Sejah Haversh, among others), and I'm going to try giving this another go with a new character, this time. Yeah, it'll be another Nehantite, because daggoneit, they're fun. =P

As I'm completely out of the loop, I thought it'd be a bit fun to bring in a character who is in a similar way, and I've come up with a novel approach to do just that.

Halajiin Rabeak, a yellow-furred Nehantite (mongoose) had only been a Jedi Knight for two months, and was sent on his first solo mission to go and deal with a group of smugglers/slavers. Unfortunately, while he was trying to get the drop on them, they got the drop on him, instead, and captured him. After a fierce interrogation, it was revealed that he was a Jedi, and a Jedi was worth more alive than dead, to the right people, so he was hauled off and frozen in carbonite to be shipped off to be sold.

Unfortunately, the ship he was being carried on ran into some very bad luck, and be it attack, life support failure, reactor failure, whatever, the ship was abandoned and left to drift through space, and it has been doing so ever since for somewhere in the order of a hundred years or so. Thankfully the power supply keeping Hal frozen has remained working, keeping him preserved quite nicely.

So, in order to bring him back into things, we're going to need someone to find said derelict spacecraft and decide to check it out, and eventually find Hal onboard and get him back to a safe place to thaw him out. He never experienced the Sith Wars, or the Clone Wars, and has no idea what's going on in this time, so be prepared for a very confused mongoose. =P

Oh hello there, displaced-from-time buddy.

This character is from 25 years in the future so she already knows about you getting rescued and defrosted by the Jedi. Or at least one version of you getting defrosted. It's complicated.

But if you need someone to point the way towards your ship, I can do that :D

What's that? Some random guy needs to be flying around space and happen upon a Jedi in some abandoned hunk of metal that was once a starship?

Ben would be very likely, at least. And if the Jedi somehow gets unfrozen because Ben doesn't know what he's doing... well.

Will this mongoose have an accent or speak more archaically? That would be awesome.

I'm in! I can poke at the frozen block that is Hal and keep Ben from hurting himself on things he doesn't understand. :lol

What, did you guys seriously miss me that much? Awww, thanks!

And while I think the plan was for Ben and Sindy to come and find me, looks like Cirr has moved in. Nothing says Ben and Sindy can't still get involved, though. Let the fun begin!

Well, there's only one viable solution.

Ben and Sindy board Hal's ship, and Cirr decides to torch it anyway, forcing them all to flee the ensuing fireball. ;)

guys I'm sorry :( I just ran in and posted with reckless abandon. Do I need to edit?

Well, one idea could be that both ships have arrived at the same time, but were focused on the derelict, and didn't notice each other. Then it'd come down to who calls salvage rights, first.

Just an option.

I'm good with it, man. Run with it, run with it! I do like Aris's idea too.

Chaperone? Aren't I the chaperone? I'm transporting her... I'm missing something here, aren't I?

Ben, Sindy, Cirr, wanted to get your input here:

Should Hal go be subject to the good doctor so that we can watch him squirm a bit, then be returned to Ben and Sindy on the trip back to the Wheel? Could be fun. =)

Do eet! Ben and Lyanie could do with an awkward reunion of sorts I suppose, but perhaps not. I'm debating doing something else entirely on Charley's ship at the moment, but in any case... DO EET.

All righty, sounds like a plan, then. =)

Though I think either Ben or Sindy ought to say something before I proceed, especially about how Hal said he was a Jedi, or something to that extent. That way it makes sense to drag his furry butt to the Wheel.

And the furry rest of him, too, of course. =P
