Another year, yet another prequels edit. So what makes this one special?

Firstly, it was done by Topher Grace (That 70s Show, Venom in the 3rd Spider-Man film), which was curious.

Secondly, he managed to edit the entire prequel trilogy into approx. 85 mins, including music from The Clone Wars series and apparently a couple of scenes from the originals thrown in as well. Amongst other things he completely removes Jake Lloyd (we only ever see Anakin as an adult) and Jar Jar has only 1 brief scene.

And the verdict was ... it's not that bad:

Linky dinky winky (http://www.slashfilm.com/topher-grace-edited-star-wars-prequels-85minute-movie/)

Of course it will never see the light of day, but it sounds interesting at least. :)

I would watch that! It actually sounds like a pretty good movie, when its cut like that.

Not fair! I want to watch it!

Anyone who has watched the Plinkett reviews of the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy will see by the description of Topher Grace's cut removed all the unnecessary side plots and centralizing the elements that fell on the wayside in the original cut as Plinkett pointed out. It sounds kind of short, but definitively sounds like it would be a fun thing to watch. Pity it will never see the light of day for the obvious copyright reasons.
