This happened yesterday but it was still very shocking to hear that he had passed away

I was sad to hear he had died.

As I've mentioned before, I'm an old fart. I grew up with The Monkees. I loved them to pieces, and I still do. They were a rare act in a way...a completely manufactured group that ended up putting out some awesome music that still sounds damn good today. And their TV show was great kitschy fun.

I think females of my generation all had crushes on little Davy. I was very sad yesterday after finding out he'd passed.
