Where is everyone?

Seriously I know how things get and we've all had busy stuff happening in our lives. Still, the track record here is that often times a little spark causes a big flame, so I'm just putting my hat in the ring to say that I'd totally like to get back into the writing spirit with folks.

I can't justify asking for a Kindle since I have an app for it on my iPhone and I'm not convinced it would actually compel me to read more than I do (which is not much).

My mom loves hers though.

Despite not being able to read much lately, I can justify wanting a kindle because I'm a ginormous nerd and I like gadgets. :mneh

I'm trying to decide if I'll be able to put my love of books (specifically the tangeable experience of owning / holding / reading them, and having shelves full of them) is expendible enough to trade them all in for a single gizmo. I guess it would give me the opportunity to read books I wouldn't normally buy?

As a Kindle owner, I heartily recommend them. I still like to own books but the convenience of being able to carry around books that would ordinarily book huge (or have embarrassing covers :uhoh) is excellent. Also , someone gave me a USB key recently with 8GB of books on it so basically I can read for free for a while!
