I know Charley liked Generals. I love it and still play it form time to time.

This game uses Frostbite Engine 2 like Battlefield 3 and Need for Speed the Run. EA is really using a lot of synergie inside their company lately.
Madden physical impact engine used in Battlefield 3 and the Battlefield 3 engine is used everywhere else it seems.

I loved Generals, I hope they don't change it too much (from a Gameplay perspective) but this looks very promising.

Charley, with a $100 video card it would run just fine on your wife's machine.

I can't justify it if it's the only game I'm gonna play on the PC. I don't think I can afford to keep up with the joneses.

You could play a dozen other things too.

I can't think of a lot of games that I'd opt for PC instead of the 360 unless its just not possible to play a console version. The exception are MMORPG's, and well, I don't smoke crack and I don't play those kind of games because I know what both habits would do to me.

If you're worried about getting addicted to games, you probably shouldn't look too closely at your roleplaying or Fallout? :uhoh

I understand what he's saying when it comes to MMORPGs/Crack. They're so very real-time with other people. You can pretty much just pause fallout/other games.

Fortunately I'm told that the lappy is optimized for net surfing, media, etc and not so much for cutting edge games. Crippling addiction averted :D
