Have anybody been watching this new show on ABC? I think it is a great fun show, and am really enjoying Robert Carlye as Rumpelstiltskin. The show seems to be building as the next Lost (I am sure ABC hopes it is). I do like all the classic fairytales getting retold in darker ways.

It's written by some of the writers from LOST and there have been a lot of Easter Eggs in the show of LOST things.
I like it pretty good! Haven't watched last night's episode yet though.

Not sure how many are still watching it but figured I post since the season finale was last night. And I thought it was a great finale. It was a really a major game change. I was glad the curse was broken, but now Rumple has introduced magic into the real world. I wonder what the implications that will have outside storybrooke. I also see Rumple as the man baddie for next season.

I was very excited for the season finale!
I was like... he isn't. No. Magic?! In the real world?! Because I think it's too soon for Storybrooke to head back to fantasy land. There's so many ramifications that it will be interesting to see what happens with Rumple and Regina, though I agree Rumple will be the baddie methinks. Though, Regina was looking might smug at the end there.
I am glad the curse is broken too. Move onto the next chapter!

One thing I give the show great credit for is the character development, especially Rumple's. The backstory with this son and then his being the Beast to Belle's Beauty were both aspects of the show that I really enjoyed. To the point that when Belle showed up at the well and now remembered who Mr. Gold was, I felt a little warm and snuggly.
I too am very glad that the curse has been broken, because I just don't know how long they could have sustained the storytelling in that direction. I especially liked it when the nurse told Regina that she'd better get out of Storybrooke ASAP before everybody caught up with her.
I'm looking forward to seeing what direction the story goes in next season.

I do so love this show! :ohno
It seems likely that Rumple will be the baddie, but.. he did get Belle back, and they had their 'I love you' moment. So it could be alright. :uhoh August is still wood, in bed. Sounds wrong right? I think Emma should go fix him! :lol
Emilie De Ravin looked a little like her old crazy Claire self at the end though. huh?
Rumple.. :love

missed this thread - yep I like this show. There were some pretty good moments throughout the First season and I think it was a quality showing. Season 2 is gonna be great now that Emma is on board. Or at least, she seems to be?

the season premier was last night and it was awesome. I loved the darker tone of the first episode. There are many questions
Who is the mysterious stranger? And who is Dr. Whale? I imagine he is somebody important. Of course the big shock was Emma and Snow being sent back to the Fairy Tale world and accidentally killing Prince Philip. It will be curious to see what happens with that next week.

I thought it clever that the two parts were happening so close together. I like the paralleling like they did with the season finale with James and Emma.
And hello Emma... given magical powers to Regina. Interesting.
Snow wanted alone time with her daughter so hey... she got her wish hehe

I loved that the fairy tale and the Storybrook stories were happening at the same time rather than the fairy tale being a flashback. Great twist. :)
Edit: I'm also curious as to who Dr. Whale will turn out to be. Is 'whale' a clue? Charming isn't his prince so he will probably be from another land, like Wonderland or something.

My only real complaint about the season premiere is that I wasn't all that impressed with the actress playing Mulan. Except for that, I thought it was a fab episode. I got my fill of Rumple/Belle feels. :love
