Well, of COURSE I do, and that's CLEARLY what the thread title says and what it has ALWAYS said. Anything else would simply be preposterous!

SD @ NYJ - This game is a toss up but supposedly Vjax is supposedly back. Gates didn't practice today, which doesn't bode especially well. Rivers hasn't been good this year.
HOU @ TEN - another toss-up. No Andre.
DEN @ MIA - Just Lose Every Game
CHI @ TB - Tough one. Tampa surprisingly beat the Saints.
ATL @ DET - Atlanta does not travel well.
SEA @ CLE - Seattle shows spark here and there.
WAS @ CAR - Cammy Cam can!

PIT @ ARI - Arizona gonna zone.
KC @ OAK - Palmer might even start, either way, McFadden runs all over KC.
GB @ MIN - Debut for a rookie QB. Woodson gonna have all the INTs, Rodgers all the touchdowns.
STL @ DAL - If it weren't for all the money I would feel extra bad for Sam Bradford, although he has someone to throw to now.
IND @ NO - Miami's biggest competitor in the Biggest Loser contest. I wonder what the odds are on Indy winning.

Mon, Oct 24
BAL @ JAX - Jax a Monday night game? WTF ESPN.

Holy crap, maybe the Raiders should have started Palmer... Kyle Boller, 1/3 for 3 yards and two picks? Eesh!

Also, argh, I chose the wrong home team missing its starting halfback to switch picks at the last minute! Either of the other two (Tampa Bay, Detroit) would have been good! >_<

That was a good 4th Quarter game in London. The Bucs were plagued by injuries, Jeremy Trueblood's Penalties, and 3 Interceptions thrown by Josh Freeman, and it still came down to the wire before Freeman threw a 4th Interception. Talib made a stupid penalty on 4th down that ended up bleeding a minute away, and Barber missed a couple of interceptions. The bears on their part made a few huge penalty errors, and Cutler threw 2 Interceptions and was sacked twice.

I am very happy with how the Chiefs played. They shocked everybody in Oakland. They could still turn it around this season. They need to win next Monday Night against the Chargers and then would be in first place tie.

Jedi Master Carr
Oct 24th, 2011, 09:01:56 AM
I have to say I'm tired of the Tim Tebow miracle crap here. He looked horrible for 55 minutes and then looks good in the last five minutes. If they played any other team they would have gotten blown out and he could never have come back. Also, they got an onside kick which happens like 1% of the time in the NFL. Next week they will probably get their butts kicked playing the Lions who will be pissed off after losing two games and will take it out on the Broncos.

Man the Ravens offense is awful. How are they the best team? I know their defense is great but you have to score points.

Still no 1st downs for the Ravens with 2 minutes left in the half. Holy crap this game is awful. I want to know who put the Vaseline on everyone's gloves?

It looks as bad as that Browns-Seahawks game did yesterday.

Dragon

Ha! Mike Tirico just accidentally called Flacco Roethlisberger!

The Jaguars defense is playing incredibly with very little support from their offense. This is reminding me a lot of the Steelers' game in Jacksonville in 2006 where the Jaguars defense completely destroyed Pittsburgh's offense. Their front four has been brutalizing the Ravens' offensive line, and their cornerbacks have been blanketing Boldin and Smith all day. The only thing missing is a key interception by Rashean Mathis.

EDIT: I'm surprised the Ravens didn't try to kick it deep after the TD with 2:02 left. Billy Cundiff kicks every single kickoff into the end zone, so the Jaguars likely would have started on their own 20 with no opportunity to run any time off the clock. Now even if the Ravens do hold the Jags for a 3-and-out, they'll probably be starting wit poor field position after the punt.

Yeah it was a dumb movie. It is tough to recover onside kicks. Baltimore is a hard team to figure out. Flacco has been playing bad lately, although Ray Rice did nothing. I suspect many teams will now put 8 in the box against them for the rest of the season.

Dragon
Oct 25th, 2011, 10:01:33 AM
In Flacco's defense, the Jaguars cornerbacks played incredibly well, and even when Flacco's throws were on target, the coverage was airtight up until that 90-yard TD drive. Even then, the Jaguars made the Ravens take enough time that they had very few options at the end of the game. But, yes, Ravens fans can't be happy with that offensive performance, and neither can the Ravens defense.

I'm sure the Steelers will be studying this tape carefully. Baltimore gets Arizona next while the Steelers play the Patriots, so it's very likely the Ravens will recover their half-game division lead after next week leading up to their Sunday night game in Pittsburgh. Once again, part two of the Steelers-Ravens series is going to play a pivotal role in shaping the AFC playoff picture. I can't wait.

With respect to the Packers and Bears, the Colts and Patriots, or whoever else you'd care to throw out there, the Steelers and Ravens have the best rivalry in pro football right now, and they have for several years. I'm not optimistic about the Steelers' chances against New England, but that doesn't bother me - that game is trivial by comparison. The Steelers' postseason hopes will live and die on whether they can beat the Ravens, and vice versa.

Morgan Evanar

Since the Dolphins are former Cam Cameron victims, I'm extremely hesitant to blame Flacco's poor performance on Flacco. Cam Cameron is objectively awful and should be thrown into the Potomac with special shoes.

Well I still put the Chiefs-Raiders first. They are one of the oldest rivalries in the NFL and both teams hate each other.

Dragon

Which is why I said right now. :) Though honestly, there's not a lot to be gained by arguing which rivalry is the best. Obviously I care more about Steelers-Ravens, and you care more about Chiefs-Raiders. Getting swept up in these rivalries is one of the best things about being a football fan.
